Hi there!! We log on here to check things from time to time. Sent our petition last year in Nov but was rejected due to the fee change. And we sent it again in April, got NOA1 on May 02, just found that our case was approved on Sep 06!!!!!! Hooray!! Wanted to thank all of you on VJ!!!

We are wondering that if Packet 3 was sent to us with NOA2? And what we need to do from now on??

Thank you!!!

J&J

It depends on where your Fiancee is. But it is mailed separate if at all I believe.

Hi there!.Sorry I don't know the answer to your question.I just am curious why you got an RFE and may I ask what your RFE is all about?.Me and my fiance didn't receive our NOA2 yet but I'm worried every time I read here that someone got an RFE :(

I got RFE because my lawyer did not submit any evidence of me meeting with my fiance in the last 2 years. RFE can be issued for anything like for more evidence, forgot to sign something or if they want more information from u. I.hope that answers ur question.

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

I felt the same reading the threat. Its easy for someone to suggest that since they already went through the process. Like everyone know how frustrated this process is and a toll it can take on a relationship. maybe it was faster and too easy for them to suggest that it should be harder. Many couple would do anything like paying higher fees or fees to expedite if they could just to have their loved ones with them. Suggesting to make it harder is a bad call especially to those who are still waiting.

I agree. Everyone here is already going to be sensitive, because most of us are pending cases, so we're away from our husbands/wives/fiance(e)s and some on this forum are away from their kids and parents too. So for him to suggest stuff like that..... And it's kind of insulting to see that a few people agree with him.

I got more emotional reading everyone's responses because this process can feel so alone, and when you see how everyone else is dealing with it, it's easy to empathize with their feelings.

Hey May Filers Fam!!! Just droppin by to check on y'all, hope everyones doing okay. :) I've been okay but busy as heck preparing docs for our interview. I should've done this 2-3 mos ago if only I had known NOA2 was on the way! Guys if you're having that strong feeling that you're gonna get your NOA2, TRUST your "feelings" lol and start preparing your next set of paperworks. Don't do it at the last minute, because when your NOA2 comes you'll def go loca. Lol

Anyway, just wanna share me and my kids medical experience. We were at SLEC @5:15am and the line was super long already! Just a piece of advice, DON'T EVER COME ON A MONDAY! I saw one VJ member, Gretchen_Darren but I was able to recognize Darren first before his fiancée Gretchen. I didn't have a chance to chitchat with her because I was busy getting pissed at this young lady infront of us who was coughing real bad and was smoking the whole time we were in line. Her smoke was all over my kids face, I was so mad since my eldest daughter has a bad allergy. She got her sneezing every 5 sec!! People were all looking at the lady with disbelief, and before i was able to say something to her, my youngest daughter already snapped at the lady! Lol My little girl was VERY angry. She's like, "Ate, can u please stop smoking, you're making m sister sick! Stop now or else mr. Guard will not let u in!" LOL it was very funny, people all laughed at my daughter and I heard someone said "correct! that's my girl!"

So we were already in when I received a text from Ivy, finally. I was I worried about her, thought she's not gonna make it that day because of incomplete requirements. She didnt know. But she still made it on time. We're only able to see each other around 12pm I was on my way to my X-ray, she was left with my little girls while I was waiting for my turn in the dressing room. Ivy is James's fiancee (VJ member James and Ivy) we have same timeline since NOA1. We are trying to do everything together from our medical to our CFO seminar once we have our visas on hand. Lol So we were finished around 2:30pm, I had to take the girls for lunch, we went out around 1pm when I saw Darren (vj member) sitting outside and fanning himself with a card board or something (weather that day is super hot) guess he couldn't take the crowd inside and decided to just wait for Gretchen outside. We came back around 2pm and finished in 30 min. I told Ivy we will chat that nite and try to schedule her interview. But i was so tired that and fell asleep too early. I woke up around 7am (Tuesday) and decided not to go back to saint lukes. I sent Ivy a text so we can schedule her interview already. She couldnt make a schedule over the phone because everytime she talk to an agent, she was being told to fill up the DS-160 first. She's calling the 982*** number Phils. Hotline. I wasn't asked to fill up that form when Dee called the 214*** US hotline so I adviced her to call the US # instead. But I remember we can schedule online so we decided to do it online. She was having connection issues so I just got her info and signed her up myself. Her docs are complete already, so I asked her if she wants to have an earlier appointment. She didn't want to, she said she's too nervous to go alone lol so I asked her if she wants to have the same appointment like mine, sept 19. Luckily the 19th is still available. So i set her appointment date on the 19th. We're happy to have the same interview date. She also passed her medical and got her result on Tuesday.

Wednesday morning, I saw the "dragon" lady again, she came to me and apologized for smoking i told her its okay. I asked her why she came on a wednesday instead of tuesday. She said she left after her immunization and didn't know know she's supposed to get her result after. Obviously she passed, good for her. I was scheduled for immunization in Tuesday @9am like her and supposed to get all done but I didn't show up. I called them on tue afternoon though, and asked if I can have my immunization on Wednesday together with my kids and get our result at the same time. They first told me that I passed my medical and yes I can come on Wednesday for my vaccines, but at the same time I was given (9am) because my doctor is only available in the morning. My kids appointment was at 2:13pm and their immunization depends on their TST result. My kids didn't have an X-ray, they had the tuberculin skin test and it takes 48 hrs to know the result. A pediatric doctor will tell you if your child is positive or negative. If it's negative the doctor will endorse your child for immunization. If it's positive, your child will be sent for X-ray the same day, and they will tell u to come back the next day for the result. Thank God my kids were both negative on their TST and received 4 shots each that had them hollering for hours. I had 3 shots. We left SLEC @exactly 6pm and headed to the bus terminal to go back to Laguna. :)

This is a very appropriate statement considering all the flooding that's been happening in the VSC area.
