That's a GREAT one. Good idea ;)I fell in love with my Tolga pretty quickly. He is very handsome of course. But what draws me to him is his determination and his enthusiasm. He learned English to be able to speak with me. He continues to try for me daily. He makes sure I always know I am on his mind. A true gentleman who holds ME his woman up high. Family comes first to him as well. He wants nothing more than to hold his own family close. And finally....he makes me smile so big my laugh lines are growing deeper by the day. This is the man I cannot wait to share the every day with. Sleep in late and watch him play with our children. I'm so in love. I will be holding him again soon :)

He's a good man Sab... :) And I am jealous!!! You'll get to see your love AGAIN, and SOON!!! It's been 13 months since the last time I gt to hold my baby... :(

You got that right very expensive!! I rather save it also! we got everything we need almost for Interview alrdy, i just got to send her my Financial documents and other papers by LBC!

I know... I will start working on my scrapbook and gather all our evidences this weekend.

AwwWwWwWw.......Sabrinaaaaa, you made me shed a tear.....That is so sweet! I need a tissue... :crying::crying: Oh yea your going in September....Thats awesome!!!

We're all so blessed to find our TRUE LOVE... (L)

Thanks! :) Very sweet to see you can sense the emotion. We have come a long way. But the journey has been so worth it. And my daughter loves him too. He adores my little girl. I see his face light up whenever he gets to chat with her. Melts my heart (L)

Good morning/afternoon/evening May Filers! I'm sure hoping VSC starts approving May petitions soon... now that we're getting closer, the wait seems even harder to bear. I'm trying to stay positive and busy, and I'm looking forward to a good friend from Texas (the one who introduced my fiance and I) who is coming to visit me in a couple weeks. Time just seems to be dragging right now.

On a happier note, my fiance picked up our wedding rings yesterday (we had picked them out when I visited him last month). :) :) :) Sure can't wait to wear it!!!

I really don't understand why can't both service centers process petitions the same way though.. :bonk: Not that I'm complaining, I'm glad we got approved faster than we thought... But why? Both service centers are located in ONE country, right? What's the difference, really? Does Vermont caters more applicants than California?

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Oh okay... I thought children under 14 are not required to have chest x-ray cause I know that's not good and kind of harmful to children right? My kids just had an x-ray in January because they had a bad cough and their pedia required them to have a chest x-ray. They're clear though. But the x-ray tech at the hospital told me chest x-ray for kids should be be done only once a year or it can harm them.. I am not sure about about this but I'm a mother and my kids health comes first..

But that's Saint Lukes! They should know what they're doing. But if something goes wrong, I might hurt them if I can't sue them.

Your children will be subjected to more radiation on ONE plane ride than they will on a lifetime of xrays, even if they get them several times a year. They will also cover your children's reproductive organs with a lead apron, as the radiation doesn't hurt your children, it just potentially hurts your grandchildren. As it is, the risk is extremely low, but because it's a medical procedure, it comes with a million warnings against it. Honestly, if something like Tylenol was new on the market today, it would NEVER make it off the shelf, as it's too risky, and we use it everyday with no concern about it. They're just super super strict because they don't want to be sued. Don't worry about it... Don't even worry about the plane ride for that matter, the radiation from that is very small too!

Vermont does get many more applications than California, not sure why, I think it's to do with the population split? California gets more work visas apparently... As it sits, they DO process the work visas before they process the family ones, and also, I think Vermont is still catching up from a shortage of workers, they took a lot of people off to work on other desks when Libya started having issues, and I still think they're short staffed. In any case, they seem to be speeding things up, so you may not have as long a wait ahead of you!
