What's up Fam?? Y'all been doin okay? I know the waiting sucks, I feel you all on that one. I'm missing my boo boo too, TERRIBLY... :( It's hard to not be able to talk to him like we used to. But I know he needs a complete rest after his major surgery.. And oh, so I went to SM City this noon and bought us couple's rings, They are sooo cute and not so expensive! Free engraving too! I cant help myself, so I bought it. I will mail it to him via EMS on Monday. Its just a simple gift from me to my baby.. I want to surprise him when he gets back home from the hospital. So hopefully the package will get there before Friday.

Don't y'all worry, the waiting is almost OVER.. We're getting closer and closer, yeah??(POSITIVE VIBE) Have a blessed and fantabulous weekend everyone!!! *Hugs my bros and sissies*

Awwww that's so cute! me and my fiance have a couple's rings too, instead of giving me an engagement ring, we decided to have a couple's rings as our promise rings so we made promises to each other on his last night here. But of course, i still want to receive a formal engagement ring and that i look forward this coming October on his next visit here in PI...

I'm happy that my fiance received in the mail today my corrected name of our NOA1. Have a great weekend May and June Filers...anytime soon we will be hearing from any May filer that their petition approved already! Good luck to all of us!

I dreamt i got an RFE! It's likely we will do (for more evidence of having met in the last 2 years) but I was so excited to see progress in my dream...back to 'Initial Review' on the real life website this morning.

Thanks, Tom. It's good to know I've been missed. :D Several calls to the NVC have been made so far with no positive results. I'm not worried... yet. July 18 is the last day of their given 15 business day limit. After then, all gloves come off. I've still been lurking around here while keeping busy with work (driving as many miles above 2,000 per week as I can possibly get) and going to school. I'm starting to funnel funds towards bills to be paid in advance (1 month's rent for while I'm in the P.I. is paid with another month to be paid in advance (my choice)). I'm going to start working on a spreadsheet this weekend to make sure I can get everything covered that I need to for the trip. I've already done that for the wedding. :star:

Well i hope the best for you! Keep the faith like you said it will get there. You dont have long until your trip to the Philippines.3 months go like that! Hoping the BEST for you and all of US! Have a good one!

I just want to share something with our little family and ask for your Prayers. we ALL go through different trials in life! Grace told me a few days ago that her dad has "Esopheagal Cancer".thats cancer of the tube that connects the throat to the stomach. He cant eat or swallow! I belive or I should say it is terminal.his thoughts were to just come home after going to the Hospital and finding out his diagnosis.he felt the hospital couldnt do nothing for him at this stage.I looked it up on the net and printed out some information and will email it to Grace.he is going to a herb doctor up in the mountains of Cebu for treatment and belief that he will be cured.I have other thoughts on that approach but if he thinks thats what he needs to do than so be it! she took pics of him recently(2 days ago) and emailed them to me so i can see him as he is at this point. he is very skinny of course cause he isnt eating just a little bit, and little fluids.Hes no doubt........wasting away cause of that growth in his throat keeps him from swallowing and it pains him to try to do it. As far as Grace is concerned......................

She is taking it as BEST as you think a daughter would take her Father leaving her. She reads this forum of ours always..... and honey if you see this its not to put your business in public it is to share with some people like others have said that are close without ever have seen each other! I know and Hope you Understand! All i would ask of the group at this time, is your Uncondtional prayers! like"Britt and Dee"....we all have things that suddenly throw us some kind of curve in life!!! Thanking you ...May 2011 Filers in Advance for your Prayers ..................................TOM

Thanks for sharing with us Tom. I am so glad we have this safe space where we can all share our thoughts, worries, etc. I know this is a hard time for Grace, and for you because you can't be there with her and comfort her. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Grace and her family, and I'm sending you all big hugs and love.

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

It's been 2 calendar weeks. The guides say 2 weeks, but the NVC operates in business days. So, 15 business days from June 24 (with the first business day counted being the Monday after the NOA2) would be July 18 (accounting for the holiday weekend).
