Yea 9 mths is a long time! I could have made another trip but we talked about it and decided that our resources need to be directed at paying all the fees, Transportation and food costs from Cebu to Manila for medical and then back to Manila for interview.I am also paying for her sister to travel with her to Manila because I decided I didnt want her going there alone although she says it would be ok with her.When i was there in September 2010 we went to St .Lukes just so she knew where it was and we also walked by the US Embassy on Roxas Blvd, so she knew where the Embassy was located.we talked to a Security Guard there and it was on a Sunday so it was closed that day.he told her where to assemble when she comes and very helpful, although he didnt let us take ANY PICS of the Embassy Buildings because of Security reasons....oh well!:dance:We do talk Day and Night on Yahoo Video Chat!:)

are you sure? Someone mentioned elsewhere on VJ people have been denied being a little over in Manila specifically. I hope not cause last year was not so good for me. I am about 200 or 300 over 125%. Plus My work is construction so I work on and off again all the time. And for different companies. Sometimes every other week, sometimes even in the same week.

Plus My work is construction so I work on and off again all the time. And for different companies. Sometimes every other week, sometimes even in the same week.

I am not completely sure, no but someone who has more knowledge about it could comment about it I would guess that is the guideline? 125% is 125%..

hi my fiance sent the papers to the dallas lock box on the 20th of may.

got a text that it was forwarded to vsc last june 9

and just got the notice in the mail today...

we checked the timeline thing but when i keyed the number it was invalid

Regarding the poverty line...the Thailand filers have told me not to worry, but I don't know about the Philippines. I wonder if it's different depending on the embassy?? Regardless.......I'm still worried. Haha :blush:

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Nice, Nic. I'm the one planning our wedding, too. Yesterday, while making calls, I think I found our Church (I'm getting married near my relatives instead of where I live), reception hall, baker, DJ, caterer, and florist. Some of my choices were easy because I've known about their reputations before or have dealt with them in the past. Our date is set for 1-7-12. :thumbs:

By the way, you have a friend request. :D

Current Status: Married on March 3, 2012. Preparing for AOS.

04-04-11 I-129F sent via USPS Priority Mail

04-06-11 Delivered to Dallas Lockbox - signed for by J. Arthur

04-08-11 NOA1 sent to me, Check cashed, Case transferred to the California Service Center

04-11-11 Touched, Received e-notification via text message of NOA1 (at 12:30 am?!?!?)

04-15-11 Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail. Notice date 4/8/11.

So you are going to have a big wedding?

I haven't done much planning yet. And we also decided that since we have the VSC, we're not setting a date. All we know is that it will be in February on a friday, if our NOA2 comes when expected ;D As of yesterday, it says Oct2-14, so that's nice.
