Thank you SouthCal. It pains me to think about that I can't do anything to be by his side.. Absolute feeling of uselessness I tell you... It's killing me! I'm starting to hate the distance between us. :(

By the way, my fiance's name is Dee and I am Britt... :)

"Contrary to what the cynics say, distance is not for the fearful, it is for the bold. It is for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It is for those knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they don't see it nearly enough."

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Sorry for double-posting, but does anyone know what tax forms we need for the I-134? And where to obtain them?

I think its a GREAT IDEA to have your tax transcripts for the last 3 Years, although I dont know know what the Bangkok Embassy requirements are? From all the Embassy reviews I have looked at for USEM, Everybody says that the most recent year ITR is what they ask for. thats what i read for them. But over all it couldnt hurt, you never know with some COs!

Thanks everyone! I wonder if it's ok because I make a lot more now than I did last year... Is it ok to get the transcripts or do you need the actual forms? Because Lea (lilly) said that it cost something like $60 to get the real forms and the transcripts are free.

That's because, as you eluded to, every embassy's requirements are different. Manila only requires the most recent tax return or transcript. I've read reviews/posts from other embassies where the CO required a transcript instead of the 1040.

I filed online. Can't I just print off last years 1040?

Yes, you should have no problem with doing that.

in germany for example u actually don´t need anything including taxes, they just want the bank statement and a letter from the employer. i am getting it though, just to make sure...i think it would be the worst feeling ever to get denied because u didnt have one piece of paper :)

how´s everybody dealing with the wait? I am about to crazy eventho i know i should be blessed because i am gonna see him in 74 days.
