Im going to keep my fingers Crossed. I emailed the US Embassy in Manila a while ago about that very subject. They told me unless you reside there now its not needed and the CO is suppose to waive it.but I just read on the the Philippine forum that the CO asked a member about Police Cert for Dubai? so unless he doesnt know that rule something is wrong.I just Emailed them today and asked again are they sure because a CO there asked my friend about it and they got delayed waiting for it.Hope they answer soon. Let you know.

According to country-specific information on police records found at the State Department’s web site at http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_4881.html?cid=3698, police certificates are considered to be unavailable to applicants who no longer reside in United Arab Emirates and hence applicants are not expected to produce them.

my wife had a friend that was asked for dubai certificate at interview so she was told to come back after she got it. ( we wasnt going to get one cos sum people said not needed. so to play it safe we went ahead and got it.) btw.... my wife had to go to uae embassy in manila to to get requirements which is go to nbi to get fingerprints on securty paper. so nbi will send fingerprints dfa (dept of foreign affairs). this will take 5 days. then she went to dfa to pay 100+ pesos to get red ribbon then she took all paperwork to dhl inside dfa to send to uae embassy in manila after they recieve it they send it to my wife then she had to send it to her friend in dubai so she could go get police certicate at police headquarters then send back to my wife so she could have it at interview. and they did ask her for the police certifcate at interview..... this was our journey to get police certifcate frum dubai

GOOD LUCK "Me and Him" Guess What??? God is GOOD we both having our Fiance(es) Interview in a week!!!! Grace is having her Interview on April 16th, Monday in the Philippines.I sent her the Fee for the Visa and she waited until evening to try to call, the Call Center. I was going to do it for her online but she wanted to do it herself she told me. She told me that I had been through a lot already with the process and she wanted to help in any way she could.Luckily she elected to call, the Call Center and they gave her an Appt for Interview in 5 days from Wednesday, on Monday. we were both shocked that the Interview was scheduled so Quick!!! we both figured since its been so long since petition approved they wanted to make sure she get her interview before final Expiration of Petition which isnt until July anyway. anyway Me and Him keep us Posted also ok? We love all our VJ Family!

congratulations tom... im so glad its over for u guys. well in my end my fiance got the 221g sheet. everthing went ok but the Co wanted some documents regarding his previous overstay in the USA. CO said they computer show a hit of possible ban from usa but does not show time and kind of ban, so he pretty much want us to give him that information. my finace had overstay his visa back in 2006. he left usa in 2007 and had a 3 year ban. the ban was over in 2010 and i dont know how come the embassy does not have that inofrmation. so now i need to submitt documents showing thatit was a 3 year ban which is now over. so i will get the documents and send it to him. they told him to submitt the documents with his passport and he should get the visa afetr that. iam sure its that easy after he submits the papers. please advise me if anyone in similar situations. i hate this soo much.

May family!!!!

I've been SO absent from here. Life has been so busy that I haven't been online that much. I try not to touch my computer at night. Because I have my sweet husband home with me. And for those of you still waiting, you will have what you want and need VERY soon. Love you all...keep on truckin!

AOS for us now. But at least we're waiting together.
