Most of the May Filers know about the Situation Grace and I have been going through with her dad the last few months. it was such that I Emailed the US Embassy and explained my situation. they replied back, "not to worry I129F is routinely extended at that embassy" and they extended it an additional 4 months. I just received a Text from her short while ago that her Dad has passed at 130AM Philippine time today. 930AM PST in Cali, Sunday here, Monday early there.

I would like to thank the individuals that sent me PMs and of course the May 2011 Filer group! ThanK YOU!

Tom :thumbs::thumbs: :thumbs:

My condolences go out to Grace and her family, which, of course, includes you. I know you want more than anything in the world to be there and comfort her in this difficult time. I'm sure she knows this and understands how you feel as well.

On a lighter note, it's a little humorous that you put thumbs after your name. It makes me think of Tom Thumb. ;)

Hello my May family. I know I said I wont post anything untill I have some good news to share. I have somewhat of a good news and hoping the real good news is not too far behind. Last week I had contacted my congressman office for help. Here is the email that the congressman office received from VSC.

Dear ________

Expeditious handling has been approved for the petition for alien fiance (form I_129F) in question.

This matter was reviewed and a determination was made that it met the criteria for special handling, since the petition has been pending beyond the normal processing time here at the vermont service center.

The petition or application wil be reviewed and the petitioner should be receiving notification from this office very shortly.

Well that was the email. Now I hope I hear something soon. Any idea how long it takes after expedite.

@Southcalhog.. So sorry to hear about Grace father. you guys are in my thought and prayers.

Now you got another little wait Until it gets to NVC! it took me and Ray_J about a month before our case got there. If you need the Number to NVC it is 603-334-0700.give it a week though before you call. if it is also taking to long you can Email them to do a research of your case at.....NVCinquiry@State.gov. but you dont use that now. wait about a week or more then start calling them.after awhile if they dont receive your case they will tell you to scan it and email it to them at that email address. if you have any other Questions let me or Ray_J know. Again, CONGRATULATIONS! :dance: :dance::thumbs:
