^ LOL Yeah, I also had a similar dream two days ago.

So, techincally this means that we VSC filers can have hope for under 5 months now, right? My NOA2 prediction date keeps getting closer. Now it's Oct 8 :D

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

And I was talking about VSC, you CSC filers are in even better shape :) It is about to go under 100 days for approval and it will continue to fall the next 2 months I think (based again on past few yrs trends), so you might be less than 3 months :)

Hey randy, less than 3 months? let hope we all get approved soon whether VSC or CSC!

I'm also a may filer. Filed on may 4 and received noa1 on may 9. I know there is a long wait ahead but hoping for a miracle. Wish everyone the best of luck and hope for fast process for k1.

Good Luck!

Also, I looked at the stats from this time last year and it sped up also around the same time and kept going through summer. May Filers last year was approved on average in 3 months no later than August for most I saw. And remind a few months before that it was also at the limit til 5 just like we are noticing with people that filed back in our say December 2010.

So I hope all that is hopeful to hear.

That would be great if I went to Russia and received an email saying she was approved before the baby was born. man oh man. I would love for her to be here for new years eve and Christmas ^_^ and thanksgiving. ^_^

Some things are advised to be done AFTER the noa2 is actually there so it is current/recent, like the pay stubs for example. So, I would not do all of these ahead of time. But, here is the list I compiled for the petitioner to do...

Copy of NOA2

An EXACT copy of the petition he sent in to CSCIS

ds forms:

1. 2 COPIES DS 156

2. 1 COPY DS 156K

3. 2 COPIES 157

affidavit of support

- Notarized Form I-134

- Employment Letter

- 2010 Tax Copies (Tax Transcripts and E-filing)

- 2010 W2 Copies more than one i think

- 3 Recent Pay Stubs / Copies

- Bank letter/statements

More Recent examples like what was in the Petition

newer letters/cards sent

newer email

newer im

newer phone card

newer money gram

newer letter of intent

ring and/or ring receipt

I almost forgot that its a good idea he send the 'originals' not just copies of the k1 petition package sent to USCIS

thanks for that a lot!!!!he didnt make a copy though of the petition b4 he sent it :( is that gonna be a problem? they´ll have the petition, so i don´t understand

It shouldn't be for you. I read someone else they (the embassy) are not just looking to match everything up and see if it is exactly the same copy from USCIS, all that want is for the items to be there for them to review themselves. It might be for him lol if he has to recreate all that. But on a happier side ALL the originals of some of that stuff he should still have.
