if Its a 100 times harder to get paperwork done in Vietnam then i would think you guys best choice would be to extend the Visa! unless Finances is a issue then i dont know.If thats the case have faith and go back and pray about it and im sure you will receive your Visa. But you can never arrange events based on USCIS or any Embassy timeline. Good Luck!! and You Welcome!

Hi thanks for the encouragements, the problem is we both are students and money is kind of an issue for us right now, but worse case scenario is for my fiance has to do is to extended his visa in Australia, but i just hope that he will get the visa to the USA before February. I have been praying each and everyday from the day I submitted the application, and Im still praying now. =)..I know everything happens for a reason, and my case takes that long because there must be reason behind it. So I hope by 29th, I will hear some good results from the VSC..=), for now, just have to believe and wait for it...

I just called the office for the first time for my case, and this morning i requested for an expedite, and I got the email for denying the expedite. So i just called the USCIS again,

and got to talk to the tier 2 person, and he put me on hold for him to call the service center. SO then he told me that I will hear from the office by November 29th, 2011, however, he didn't give me the reference numbers. SO now, I just hope and pray that by November 29th, I get to hear the good result from them, otherwise I'm very stressed out. I'm a full time student and finals are coming up early December so I just pray that I get to hear some good news from the office. If not, I would be having a hear attack or something. Let's hope for good news May 2011 FIlers.

in love, we will do anything it takes to be together with our love ones. Waiting until the day to be with my fiance...seeing his smiles, his silliness and when he makes me mad. Just miss those moments, still counting and counting...

I think you should call back and make sure they actually put in a service request. You will only know that they did once they give u reference number for it. That number is something that will help you in the future if u have to call back on nov 29. Its the only proof that u actually called and was given the information. I also called today and put in service request and was given a reference number and told to call back on nov 29 if I dont get any update. They also asked for my email address. Not sure why. Good luck.

Finally we were able to put in a service request today, and got a reference number. My fiance was told if we don't hear back from them in 15 days to call back. Perhaps now we'll see some movement??? So grateful to Sabrina for letting me know about the processing time change on the USCIS website. HUGS right back to you, girl! :)

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Well so far 2 days passed since service request. I know its not much time but now im getting really mad and frustrated. Cant beleive taking more than 6 months to approve. in my case its just to review the evidence I submitted after Receiving RFE. How hard can this be to look at.evidenve and approve. My patience is really running out now with.people at.USCIS.

Thank u so much....as each day passes without approval it gets harder. I waited 60 day deadline in hope to get good news and now its another 15 days. It just seem there is always something and I am scared even thinking about wat will happen once these 15 days are up and no approval. I know USCIS will havr anothet excuse and maybe more days to add to this misery. I just feel so out of place and not being in control of situatuion and the.waiting is really taking its toll on me.
