My fiancee visa was approved on agost 24, 2006 and now waiting for the fiancee package to arrive, I would appreciate if someone knows about the process of my son, hes 17 turning to 18 in december, I would like him to be in my wedding day in usa and then he will come back to mexico to finish school.

Do I have to apply for a diferent visa for him? Will he have to go to the interview in Ciudad Juarez?

Thanks!!

If he's going to visit you it's a tourist visa.

If your son is a Mexican citizen, he will need to get a tourist visa in order to attend the wedding unless you have included him in the K1 process to come to the US with you (sounds like you didn't). That means he doesn't need to go to the CDJ interview with you.

It looks like current wait times for a tourist visa appointment in Mexico City have dropped recently which is great news. But you should still get started sooner rather than later. You can read about it here:

Good luck.
