My husband and I both like SciFi movies and there are a few martial art movies that I enjoyed, like Unleashed and The Warrior's Way

Marilyn, you and I don't ever seem to like the same movies. We watched The Warrior's Way (Kate did kick @ss) and Ninja Assassin a few years ago. I'd give 3/10 for each.

I think you were also the one who said that you enjoyed Due Date. I did not. It was either you or Trillium.

I'll go for Knocked Up although I don't like Heigl.

yeah, I liked Due Date. I thought it was hilarious. I have seen Knocked Up but I can't remember what I thought of it.

I thought Knocked Up was rather over-rated.

I watched Basic starring John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson last night. Decent enough flick till the convoluted end. Mr. Sachinky had to pause and explain the entire thing to me.

We watched Ip Man last night. I thought it was so-so but my husband really liked it.

Plunkett and Macleane. That was a really good movie. I like Johnny Lee Miller and Alan Cummins, much - it was great to see them in a historical piece with crazy music in it.

The original Friday the 13th. Ugh. ####### movie. If I wanted to sit for two hours and watch nothing happen, I'd poke around the Internet for a recording of Kasparov vs. Deep Thought.

The only scary part was at the very end of the movie. The music was horrible. Didn't fit at all in the movie. If anything, it took away from the atmosphere. Only play chase music if, you know, someone is being chased.

Watched 'The Grey' last night with the wife.

I thought the idea for the movie was good. However, it wasn't that great of a flick. I normally don't mind cussing in movies at all...but in this movie every single line seemed to carry the F-bomb, which got boring after a while. And, I was expecting some kind of rokkin-awesome Liam Neeson vs. Wolf fight scene at the end, but...it never happened...so that was a downer.

Overall though, I'd still give a 7, pretty good!
