Hello to all.

I just receive my green card (yay!) but it came with a minor error. Everything is correct except for the

Card Expires: */*/12

Resident Since: */*/10

My question is if i should renew the card before this expiration date finishes or should i file the i-90 and tell them to correct the information.

Thank you for your help.

File I-90 and indicate USCIS error so you don't have to pay a fee. Also, I would make INFOPASS and get a I-551 stamp in your passport so you can travel and work freely. Typo bummer!

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Are you sure this is an error?

If you had your interview last year, 2010 and if you have been married less than 2 years, then the green card will expire in 2012.

You need to put the entire date on your green card to get better advice, revealing this wont have any effect on your identity, the dates on your GC isn't a sensitive information. I believe the dates are correct for conditional GC, if you are resident since 2010 then your GC should expire sometime in 2012.

The OP said the GC *just* arrived. It probably should say resident since 2011 expires 2013. It is now the 5th month of 2011, and "just arrived" indicates within the last week, but at the most, within the last month.

The GC could arrive this year, and resident could be since 2010, because my interview was 4/30/2009 and my resident card say resident since 05/27/2009, you become resident the date your AOS is approved, so if her AOS was approved last year then her GC date is accurate.

Im with Katie on this one. I've seen this before. If the interview was in 2010 but the file was under review or whatever they still go by the interview date as the "approval" date, or sometime around there. We need more info.

:time: When was your interview? Did you have an interview? Put in the full dates because it will make more sense to us

sorry.

My interview was in February 2011. The date i send the documents for AOS was october 2010.

Resident since: 4/25/10

Valid : 4/25/12

Then you need to make an infopass to speak to a Immigration personnel, before sending a I-90 to replace your GC because of the fee involve.

Yep then it's a mistake. Send the I-90 without payment because of USCIS error and get it fixed. Also make sure you get the I-551 stamp in your passport at an INFOPASS because it'll take about 3 months to get the new card.
