Hello All Vj members , Am a USC fiiling for my wife CR1 we are case complete at NVC on April 12-2011 , we are still awaiting an interview to be scheduled in Nairobi kenya embassy . Please anybody have any idea as to when i can expect an interview for my wife . Thanks in advance .

After case complete, it took my wife's interview about 2+ months to be scheduled. This is a mega-embassy, which conducts interviews for about 12 african countries within the region. Give it at least 2.5 - 3 months. Feel free to msg me on any specific questions....

Thanks for your reply , I just called Nvc they said they are schedulling for June interview , she said that June is open but not garanteed. Finger crossed it was a very long journey and very depressing .

I know the feeling and I called weekly during this period of time. Although they say they will be scheduled during the 2nd week of the month, they can essentially be scheduled at anytime. Ours was Oct. 2nd, 2010! While waiting, I highly advise you to compile as much evidence as necessary such as emails, phone logs, visa stamp copies of visits, letters, skype chats, money transfers and the like. I saw many told to return with more evidence while there. Also, unless things have changed, you will be given an interview date, however the actual interview will occur the following day, therefore plan accordingly. I attended the interview wiht my spouse but it might take some creative action to actually get inside as I did...
