I130 sent : July 27, 2010

NOA1 Received : August 16, 2010

NOA2 Received : March 11, 2011 (207 days from NOA1)

NVC Journey :

NVC received : March 18, 2011

DS3032 emailed : March 30, 2011

AOS fee received : March 30, 2011

Visa : April 1, 2011

Paid AOS and Visa via Mail : April 4,2011

I864 sent : (by the petitioner) April 13, 2011 (overnight)

DS230 sent : (by me) April 11, 2011 NVC received April 13,2011

AOS RFE :(co-sponsor proof of citizenship) : April 23,2011

RFE sent : April 25, 2011 (overnight)

DS230 RFE : April 26, 2011

RFE sent : April 28, 2011 (via FedEx) NVC received May 2, 2011

sent mine April 11 :unsure: but then i got RFE so i know i'll be delayed a week or two. . .minor RFE like some date on my DS230, anyway, really hope we all get CC soon. . .

whats an RFE by they way?

Request For Evidence. Can be for anything from something accidentally left out (like passport pictures), to clarification on a question on a form, to more relationship evidence.. I could go on. Most of the time they're easy to fix, it just delays your case a bit before final approval.

Called NVC yesterday after 20 business days had lapsed

The operator said she is putting a request to process the application

If I don't hear anything in 1 week then to give NVC a call

Has anyone had this experience ?

Will the case finally get processed ?

Business day number 19 today and nothing... most likely we'll send an inquiry tomorrow and resend our AOS as well

It's very upsetting and frustrating :(

Yes we did include the bar code. Did you already send an inquiry? The operator says that since we actually recieved an e-mail that our AOS was received then they shoud have it... but I highly doubt it.

Then you say that we should send the inquiry first?

what is a n SIF? good for you nothings happening yet to ours its frustrating. ;( include us in your prayers hehe

Sign-In-Failed it's when u sign in to the payment portal of the NVC and when u can't sign-in anymore means your case is already close :) my case is close by unfortunately my 3yr old daughter got an RFE my husband will send it today and hopefully will be over in 2 weeks. :) goodluck on your's im sure ur case will be close pretty soon :)

finally SIF :)

Congrats! I got a SIF today too :dance: But, the web site has a banner up top saying they are currently performing system maintenance and you may not be able to make payments today...I hope the SIF isn't really because of the system maintenance.
