joining the military?

I'm 21 years old and I studying to be a physician assistant and maybe in the long run go to medschool but school its so expensive....my question is can I join the military with a conditional resident card?

I like helping people and i feel that military would give me experience; and plus they would pay for school me and my wife been marry for only 7 months I'm pretty sure they would give me.conditional green card. But I'm not sure if I can join with that I contact a recruiter and one told me yes and the other said no? Anyone

3/12/2011 we sent aos package

3/14/2011 package delivered

4/15/11 received noa1 aos,aed & por

4/23/11 received Biometrics appt for 5/11

4/28/11 successful walk in Biometrics

5/13/11 EAD arrive

5/16/11 APPLY FOR SSN

5/18/11 GOT PRINTOUT OF SSN

5/19/11 GOT MY FL DL WIFE IS SUPER HAPPY SHE DOESNT HAVE TO DRIVE ANYMORE.

Yes you can join with a green card. They may limit the careerfield you can go into at first, but you can join. The military will also help you get your citizenship. It wont cost you anything as long as you serve your time. Which branch were you thinking of joining? Talk to the recruiter in your area to see what they will do for you. Most likely they will schedule you to take the ASVAB test to see what best suits your aptitude...make sure you qualify for the field you want.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

I know you can join with the permanent resident card of 10 years but what about the 2 years one?Well I was looking into the navy because I heard there medical programs and work are really good if not the army would be fine, my best friend is a marine I would like to join him but they don't have medical.....
