We filed our taxes recently for last year and we are unable to obtain a transcript through the IRS' automated system, I guess because it hasn't been very long since we filed.

The return was accepted by the IRS, but I don't think we will be able to get it before I file for removal of conditions.

I have transcripts for the year before when we filed jointly so at least that's something, is there something I can send them in lieu of the transcripts for last year that will be acceptable?

You could submit a copy of the full tax return. I've read here that submitting the transcript is preferable because it's more concise and it's proof that you didn't just dummy up a return by hand or on Turbo Tax or whatever. But if you received a refund, you could include a copy of the deposit as proof of filing... or if you owed on your taxes, you could include a copy of your payment, just to cover your bases.

Then you could just keep trying to get your transcript as a back up in case you end up with an RFE... which would unlikely be related to tax stuff you submitted, I think.
