Finally, after the hardest part in all of this, the money for the IV fee has been TAKEN! After getting the original fee bill on 25th July, I think we can assume that we've finally conquered this hurdle of getting someone to take our money!

Hurrah! Hopefully you are on the move again.

My guess is that the cases approved between 6/15 to 6/30 would be bundled and sent to NVC around 7/10. We should have good news next week - patience and positive approach are virtues.

Just spoke to a lovely guy in the NVC who said he was going to alert my case to his supervisor to make sure it doesn't slip the radar as it's now paid and all the paperwork's in. I'm checking phone and email several times a day, and I'm pretty sure hubby is on it even more than me!

Ready for my grand ol' timeline? Alrighty then!

10-13-11 - CASE COMPLETE!
12-02-11 - Interview - 221g due to a washed passport
12-17-11 - POE - YYC (preclearance in Canada)

It's all set for my wife to go to the interview in early November. I am all done. But I am nervous just as vervous every day, wondering if there is still something I need to do or if there is any document I need to get right.

Today I read the I-864 instruction again, on the very first line it says use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. Never noticed that. I did use a lot of capital letters but not all of them. Hope they do not pick on that trivial little detail.

You just can't get everything 100% perfect 100% of the time.

Haha. I certainly hope so! Our marriage is as straight forward and simple as it can get, but I can't help being a nervous wreck about the upcoming interview. :lol:

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

I handed in my provisional notice yesterday at work. I hope I get December interview and pass it ok, or it'll be back to temping for me!!
