Fully agreed - see my case - it was completed on 8/15 but I have to submit another I-864 because they processed my email one day after the actual I-864. And I tried in vain to get my case complete in tact. Yes, can't argue or question NVC.

My guess is that the cases approved between 6/15 to 6/30 would be bundled and sent to NVC around 7/10. We should have good news next week - patience and positive approach are virtues.

Way2Go, the best check at this stage is looking for SIF and I don't have it yet. Since the new I-864 (exactly the same as the one before with latest date) was delivered at noon on Friday, the Lord willing I am hoping for a CC by Wednesday.

You are also Chennai bound - where are you from!

NVC received my file on the same day as you. Actually, the 20th business day from August 8th is September 6th. You don't count the day they receive it and September 5th this year is Labor Day.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!

once you get your NVC Case number you will get a lot busier filling out forms, Collecting supporting documents, paying fees etc... so just relax for now

Hi everyone, I hope someone can shed some light on my problem. I'm logged in to the payment portal and trying to select the IV bill that is listed, but the checkbox beside it is disabled so I cannot select it to pay.

A few days ago, when we were paying the AOS fee, the status of the IV bill was "in process" and it's just changed to "not paid" last night.

Is it normal to have it listed on the portal like this but not payable? Or are we just being too impatient since we have not received the IV bill via email anyway? :whistle:
