Applied for 130+129F in Late Mar2011. Got email from NVC on 16 Aug that case has been received and is in further processing. When I call USCIS it says that my case is still in processing and has not been approved.

Today (Aug22) got letter from NVC that they will reject my I-129F since they got 130 approval the same time. So my case has been with NVC since 16th Aug and so far I have paid AOS fees (88.00) sent I-864, Tax return for last 3 yrs and recent paystubs and employment offer.

Do I need to send anything else? please advise. Wait doesn't kill but injures the heart -

Ask your foreign spouse to fill out & sign the DS-3032 form (Choice of Agent Form) then send it to NVC in E-mail as an attachment (Scan & Attach the file). This is what we did and NVC accepted it without any issues.

HI_.-*GRAY*-._ I sent about 5 Marriage Pictures with my DS-230, Didn't want to miss out on anything . You too send some pics there is no harm.

Not necessary - you will anyhow have to take the marraige/ reception/ subsequent photos to the interview.

Try to add your spouse to your 401K as beneficiary and print a copy of that and attach, if you have time but don't delay the DS-230, as you can take those too to interview. Except for photos, VFS accepts other additional evidence of documents from us before interview. See the letter from VFS below, which may be helpful.

Kindly note that you can visit the visa application centre on any working day between 8am to 1pm & 2pm-3pm (Monday through Friday excluding holidays observed by the U.S. Consulate, Chennai). Documents will be accepted at VFS centers (Located in Southern region) until 10 working days prior to the date of interview. Applicant must submit all the documents to VFS as specified in the “Appointment package” or “Packet 4” (those which pertain to your case).

Further, you need to submit the courier fee payment (Rs.387/-) with the below mentioned documents:

1) Passport (original & photocopy)

2) Interview Letter(original & photocopy)

3) 2 Photographs (as per visa specification)

4) other relevant documents mentioned in your packet 4 (If required)

i also want to ask bout ds230? did they send u any instruction i hvnt recieved anything aside from aos and i printed out the barcoded cover letters since its already paid.. Aos has been sent to nvc... i wonder whats next the forum is much more informative

Did you Pay IV Bill? This will be your next step. Click on the below link and enter all the info to check if your IV bill is generated. If IV Bill is ready to be paid then make the payment and wait for a couple of days for your payment to be cleared. Once your payment is cleared you will get another Barcoded sheet which you need to printout and send with your DS-230 form and civil documents.

I am not sure about this - there could be several other cases being sent out on the same date to the same consulate - difficult to make a correct guess. You can try but only after you get your interview date - the case will not be transferred to the consulate without first scheduling an interview date.
