Everything will be fine! We are waiting for RFE USCIS site show that they sent us a hardcopy of it 27th of Sept., so we want to know what they need more!

Just want to let you know that my wife's AOS was mailed on September 27th (the same day you mailed yours), and USCIS logged her applications on September 30th, currently showing status "Initial Review" on their website.

On October 3rd, we received 3 separate emails and 3 separate text messages each for her I-485, I-131, and I-765 forms.

Our bank shows USCIS cashed our check on October 3rd.

We hope to hear about your update soon

Ha ha ha...you wrote cheque! I love it!

I can't wait until Dipu gets here and spells tire as tyre. He also pronounces the b in plumber and dumber and pronounces southerner as south-er-ner. I love it!

Well, I still have not gotten an email from USCIS but I got something better....3 letters, 3 Notice of Actions (work, travel,residency)!!!

Yeah! I bet your wife was excited yesterday! I hope to have my appointment in around that time frame too. One thing though, I don't understand why we are doing fingerprints again??? Seems there is a lot of repetition in this immigration process.

I'm actually more excited about it then my wife I did all the paperwork for our k-1 and her AOS, so I can't wait for all these to be over with! She's having fun with decorating the house and cooking since she got here She's baking a cake while I'm typing this reply

With regards to repeated biometrics, I guess the USCIS wants to make sure they issue these documents to the right person. Perhaps hey want to be sure it's the same person and not an imposter

By the way, I check the USCIS website once in a while and noticed her AOS file was touched twice so far, once on 10/05, and another on 10/06. Have you checked your updates?

Hey everybody! Sorry for disappearing these last few weeks, I'm in the US and adjusting to my wonderful new life here. Unfortunately Blake and I are not married yet (we are hoping for Oct.27, since that is when my grandparents, who were married over 60 years, were married) and I haven't even applied for my SSN yet because my birth certificate has gone missing! My mom says she packed it, but I can't find it anywhere, and my dad has a copy but doesn't know it so probably won't find it even though I filled him in, so looks like I have to send away for a new one - on a rush! and wait for that.

Its okay though, its not a race and everything will get done once it gets done.

I am doing AWESOME on the fitness challenge though hahah. I've been cutting carbs and doing Zumba classes (have one tonight actually) and I don't have a scale so I can't tell what my results have been so far, but I'm confident that I'll be able to fit into my dress again by wedding time in May.
