Just quick update. Got my GC. It was approved and sent out and I didn't get any notification of it until it arrived in my mailbox one day. It was like a nice surprise present. Then I opened it and saw they had the wrong birth country listed for me. Now I have to get it fixed. WAAAGH!

Marry Christmas Decemberite family!! Thanks for being there for us for about 2 years now, can you believe it? So here we are about to enjoy our 2nd Christmas with our international loved one!! Remember two years ago, Christmas 2010? Thank God for Skype!! Would love to hear how you guys are doing, I know now that everyone has the GC we don't come here much.

Jenie and I are doing very well, she has adapted nicely, job, drivers license, friends not made through me and in January she will take the nurse license exam (NCLEX) then the last week of January it's off to the Philippines for a 2 week vacation. It's time I meet the parents! hahahahaha

I hope you are all well and happy!!!

Thanks for the update Dizzy!! Great to hear from you. I think we will start hearing from people again in about 6 months as it becomes time to lift conditions on the green card :) We have just returned from the Philippines and it was a wonderful vacation (AND WARM! ) I have now officially "met the parents." Take care all..

Hope everyone is well - do I recall that there was another thread started once we'd all finished our K-1 stuff?

Weirdly, we just had an email from USCIS, but it was regarding the 2-yr greencard that they sent in 2011!

Very strange..

We're looking forward to removing conditions, but before that arrives in August, we have a new member of our family arriving June 22...

It's a boy!

Congrats Dizzy!

My green card was approved October 1st, but I didn't get electronic notice or anything so it was a nice surprise when it came in the mail today! :D
