the first notice was about transfer and the second notice was confirming they have received it ( Most likely at CSC) it happens to everyone who gets transferred. We all get 2 emails.

to "make things more efficient" they are full of %&*$ I filled in August, still no green card, what an annoying process

I feel your frustration :)

Will you or have you called the USCIS? I called 2 weeks ago and was told to allow 4 months from the date of transfer to CSC. Your timeline shows you transferred on 9/15, which is over a month before my wife's transfer. We plan on calling again next Monday, which is 4 months from her NOA.

Hope you'll get your GC soon! :)

Why do some people get transferred? I don't understand?

supposedly means you aren't going to get interviewed and they are just processing your green card. the problem is people have been waiting months for them to finish processing. in my humble opinion i'd rather get interviewed!!

(p.s. i got transferred, boo)

Hi Dizzy! Does the transfer effect your EAD card or just the Green card itself? This transfer thing is looking like "governmental efficiency" or "military intelligence" or some other kind of oxymoron!

Oh well....

Well, my biometrics have been done and then two weeks ago we got a letter asking for the most recent year of tax returns. I suppose we'll file this years' taxes asap and then send those in?

We still haven't heard anything about my EAD, which is majorly frustrating me :( We sent in our paperwork mid-late November (haha, same as our K1!) and I still don't know what's up with any of it! They haven't even asked us for our marriage certificate, which I forgot to send in originally. I see some of you are checking things online and whatnot, where did you get the information to log on and check things out and whatever?

aughh, I just want to be able to start looking for work! (and I really want some progress/answers for my green card so I can go visit my family later this year)

Look at your NOAs (I-797c) They will all have the receipt number. You can check on www.uscis.gov to see last touches and where they are in the process.

Awesome news for you Bobby!!! Maybe within a month I will get a similar email, my case was transferred a month after your wife's case. Enjoy the next two years of relatively free worry about immigration!
