*finally* getting our AOS stuff together. Mr. Loxy's I-94 is totally expired but heard that doesn't matter for K-1s. Ready to get this show on the road. Thank God i'm feeling closer to human these days! Giminy cricket pregnancy is a ROLLERCOASTER!!

Last night we received a second USCIS email/text for my wife's I-765(EAD). It says, "On December 2, 2011, we ordered production of your new card."

We received one last week on 11/30 that said, "On November 30, 2011, we ordered production of your new card."

I wonder if my wife's getting two cards or the card production got postponed :)

Congratulations Dizzy!!

Last night we received a second USCIS email/text for my wife's I-765(EAD). It says, "On December 2, 2011, we ordered production of your new card."

I wonder if my wife's getting two cards or the card production got postponed :)

Heck yeah!!! That's awesome!!! OMG guys i just had the scare of my LIFE!!! Since we moved into the house i can't find NOA2 from I129F...ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!!! I was like "This can't be? I'm so thorough!!!!!!" and luckily, because of my freaking out and spasticness during the I129F process, I scanned a copy of NOA2 and sent it to NVC for research. God bless my anxiety. WHEW!!!

Dizzy,

Very glad you scanned your NOA2! I scanned and made color copies of everything USCIS sent us :D It may be an overkill, but I like to be able to pull up an electronic copy when I want to look up something like a date, etc.

For your reference, I only sent the front copy of my wife's NOA2 for AOS :)

My wife did not bring her NOA2 to biometrics, so I don't imagine needing it at the interview (if any).

I think you're good as long as you can include a copy of the NOA2 in the AOS package :)

My wife got her 3rd EAD text/email/update tonight. Her case status went from two "Card/Document Production" (yesterday and last Wednesday) back to "Post Decision Acitivity" (On December 6, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765...)

What on earth is going on!

Very interesting!!

My wife's I-765 status is doing a dance too :D My guess is, her I-765 was approved back on November 30 when they first sent us the "card production" status update. The second "card production" on December 2 was probably the actual card production, and the third update on December 6 for "Post Decision Activity: ...we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765..." could be the actual mailing out of her EAD card.

I'm doing a day-to-day guess, and I hope my guess is right :D We'll see what happens next :)

I am a happy girl!! I went to have my biometrics done today. I was at first disappointed that I would have yet another delay, I presented my passport and of course it still has my maiden name. The appointment letter has my married name, my MN driver's license has married name but they wanted my marriage license...guess who did not bring it with her! The USCIS employee must of seen a look of panic on my face and quickly gave me a fax number. I was sent ahead to do the biometrics. I insisted on coming straight home (we had an hour drive), I prepared a fax cover sheet, grabbed my marriage license and went to town to fax it. I had a feeling to check my email...and guess what I found...

I guess they received my fax!! I am happy happy!

Heads up for people going to St.Paul office, it is tricky to find. If you see a Walmart off of University St. you are very close. It is 'hidden' in a cluster of buildings, directly facing the street. The staff at the front were very friendly, the staff doing the biometrics was all business, but that is okay too.

I'm very happy to report that the wait for my wife's EAD is finally over. We received her EAD/AP combo card in the mail today!!

Now on to waiting for her I-485 approval :)

With her EAD, we went to the Department of Public Safety to apply for her driving learner's permit. She had to take a "written test" on a computer, and she passed with ease. She said the test was very easy. Well, I attributed that to her studying hard. If you recall, she was turned down 2 months ago because she couldn't take the test without her EAD or GC.

She's a happy girl today, with her EAD and learner's permit in hand, she looks forward to driving lessons.
