Sorry to hear that!!

Could it be your Civil Surgeon signed the I-693 with the wrong date? Did he give you a copy of the I-693 along with the sealed envelop? If so, you can take a look to see if that's the case. If it's the CS's fault, perhaps you can call the CS's office and have them prepare a new seal envelop with the new/corrected I-693.

All documents I have from the Toronto medical clinic are dated Aug 2, 2011. This is just so annoying!

While chatting with another vj on another thread it seems my mistake was sending in the I-693, filling out Part 1, writing on it "see attached sheet". On my cover letter I indicated there was a supplement attached with the I-693. So, in the end none of that matters because they look no further than they want. What I unknowingly should have done, and yes I read the 'crazy' instructions and asked others questions, was not submitted any of the I-693 documents. I am resubmitting my medical evidence with a letter,no I-693, and hopefully that will satisfy the RFE.

Hopefully in a week or two I will get the biometrics appointment.

Took and passed my UT car road test yesterday (did my motorcycle skills test a couple Saturday's ago) so I am now legal to drive on Utah roads as a resident.

For one more month....

My UT license expires on the day my I-94 expires (and presumably, when I get my green card, the replacement UT drivers license will expire on the date the conditional green card expires). It's all fun, isn't it!

In a way, living in a state that gets winters, I could look at it as being lucky - I may not do much driving anyway as the roads will be snowy etc. Living in southern California, AZ, NM, etc could be worse if you can't drive.

I suppose I could still drive on my UK license as it is valid to 2041 (well, the photo bit is 2019, but the paper part is 2041 - my 70th birthday!), but not sure on the legalities of that. I wish that the states and Federal departments could get their act together on things like this...

Glad to know that everyone's doing well

My wife went for her biometrics yesterday. Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere, but the guard wouldn't let us in until 15 minutes prior to her appointment. There were maybe 6 other biometrics taken besides hers. Hers was the only k-1 case during that appointment time.

Got an email 2 days ago saying her I-485 case was transferred to another office for processing on October 21st.
