It's your choice what you want to do however I always advise couples to not withdraw the petition. To actually go to the interview and then decide if they'll come or not. I say this because with all the hassle and emotions of the immigration process, we can be stressed and don't make good decisions. I would hate to see that you guys withdrawn the petition and then when its too late, decide to get back together.

But to answer your actual question, you will be questioned more from here on out, like the last poster said.

am the beneficiary

As the beneficiary it will not look good. The question that will be asked is why did the petitioner withdraw. Did he/she find that they were being duped and that maybe the relationship was not real? These are some of the scrutiny you might face if someone else files for you. You will be seen as doing anything to come to America. Think twice.

peace and prosperity

Going ahead with the interview is a dangerous thing for the USC. If the interview goes ok and the visa is issued and the relatinship then goes south , the beneficary has a free pass to the US. The USC has an affidavit of support hanging over them and that may make them incapable of bringing over a real love if the find it. ( adds an extra person to the level they have to meet ) Going to the interview is a win win for the non USC. They will probably get a visa and can get to the US with or without the petitioner.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
