You can use whatever evidence you want to show proof of ongoing relationship - there is not a list of stuff that you *have* to have or stuff that you *can't* use. I also have phone bills showing text messages. I'll use pictures, e-mails, chat logs, Skype account prints, letters from friends/family saying they know we're seriously committed to each other.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

RFEs are issued by USCIS. The OP was asking about evidence of ongoing relationship to be shown at the consulate/embassy at the interview.

Also, whilst you *can* use e-mails, phone bills, greeting cards and stuff like that when you send out the first package to USCIS, they need to see evidence that the petitioner and the beneficiary have met. In that sense, e-mails, phone bills or text messages are proof of communicating or having an ongoing relationship and, alone, are not enough evidence of having met withing 2 years.

Please not that YuAndDan has only submitted Skype logs to USCIS so far - they haven't made it to the interview yet. I guess the question was whether the consulate/embassy would accept them? Like I said, there's not a list with stuff one *has* to have. So, basically, I agree that they are acceptable.

I use Chikka morning and night every day. We have over a thousand pages of Chikka transcripts with dates and times of communications. I fund her cell through Chikka and have records of about $200 per month of funding. Also we use Yahoo net to phone and I have records of each call from yahoo. I believe text messages are proof in a modern world that the Embassy will accept.

For Chikka messages, I copy entire day's messages into an ongoing Word file. It already has dates and times on each of her messages. I have transcripts of all messages and records of all funding from Chikka for a year. It is surely more than enough for the embassy. But I do have more, just in case.
