Ummm yes it was. It's C9. They normally wouldn't have approved your EAD without that, people get RFE'd if they fill that in wrong. Double check. You would have written C9.

I'd think USCIS would be a little confused (they're not always the brightest sparks) because A6 means you need to pay the fee (and the EAD is only valid while the I-94 is) and C9 you don't pay the fee and it's valid for 1 year... but I would HOPE they would realise you meant C9. Worst case scenario they'll send it back for you to fix but that's not the end of the world. I would think you'd have heard relatively quickly while they checked the forms for appropriate payment etc so I'd say you're in the clear.

I hope so! I could've sworn I put c9 but when I went back to check.. oops. Oh well :) thanks!!! :)

What did you guys put in question 15 that asks for Current Immigration Status?

Btw. I am putting © (9) in question 16 as well.

The sample I-765 here just says 'K-1' in question 15 ... but at the time of filing we are married (so I am no longer fiancee) and I am filing for EAD together with I-485 ... so I thought my Current Immigration Status is AOS Applicant ... any thoughts on this?

I hugely appreciate any help, would love to avoid RFE.

Thank you!

Eva

Thanks - I was considering putting something similar though in the sample forms here on VJ it says K1 or K1 Visa holder...I am guessing both either will be probably ok :)

K-1 Visa Holder or Adjustment Applicant will work, but those adjusting from a K-1 tend to use K-1 Visa Holder as current status on all forms so they are all cohesive.
