Talked to a service rep yesterday. They told us our paperwork was sent to Newark and will now be handled there. However they couldn't tell us when it was sent or if is in fact sitting in the Newark office. They told us people with a NOA1 date of June 2nd are currently having interviews in Newark. Since that is our NOA1 date we asked "well what is going on?" So the rep put in a service request and we have to call back in two weeks. Preparing to file a i-131 now because while we legally got married here last May, our religious ceremony is in Poland this May. Didn't file the i-131 originally because I didn't think it would take this long. Silly me.

I've been patiently watching them sort of update the processing times on the USCIS site and they FINALLY managed to get to may 2011. Thank heavens.

I phoned and put a service request in on the 25th. They told me to call back in 15 days if I haven't heard anything by then.

And so.. I wait some more.

I hope everyone else from May is finished for now.

Hi Guys,

After a long gap I am again here. Here is my story and timeline.

I was married on April 26,2011 and filled I-485, EAD, I-130 received by USCIS on May 23,2011.

Done biometrics in July 2011. EAD receive on July.

Attended interview on Aug 24, 2011, and it was tough interview. The IO handed me a paper which said we will receive a decission within 60 days. (IO took my I-94)

After couple days on Aug 30,2011 we received our I-130 approval letter (Till now the USCIS website for my I-130 shows initial review)

We didn't receive any thing, then I took infopass on Nov 11,2011 and the IO said my cas is in security review and they don't the time frame. He said if you don't get any thin in 2month take info pass.

On Feb 14,2012 I went again with info pass, this time the IO knows my attorney. She checked all files and said they gonna visit our home. Be prepare and they can visit any time. (She took my I-130 copies to put in the file as she don't have any thing in there file about I-130)

Untill now nobody visited our home nor I receive any information. My EAD is going to expire on July 2012 and I need to renew it.

Did anybody MAY/JUNE/JULY fillers have same situation. Any comments, suggestions are welcome.

thanks,

Zoom123
