Approved today at interview in Indianapolis. My wife was called in first, she was asked some questions then came my turn. Everything went fine cause all the answers were the same then we were told that my case will be approved shortly yayyyyy. Then the IO went on explaining the removal of conditions procedures that will take place after 2 years. Done with the uscis untill the summer of 2013 Good luck May fillers :)

lol... his green card came in the mail yesterday. the day after we got his NOA2 ;) quickest 3 weeks ever!

02-date forgotten-2008: met online playing a game called lineage 2

06-17-2009: met in person for the first time!

06-26-2009: proposal <3

10-6-2009 through 11-3-2009: lived together for a month

03-24-2010 through 03-30-2010: traveled to meet his family

06-16-2010: started printing paperwork for I-129F package

06-25-2010: mailed off the I-129F package!!!

07-06-2010: NOA1 (according to the paper I hadn't got yet)

07-08-2010: check cashed

07-12-2010: hard copy NOA1 received in the mail

07-12-2010: touched

10-03-2010: touched

10-29-2010: NOA2!

11-08-2010: NVC received our petition

01-01-2011: called embassy as we never got packet 3. got "lost" in the mail. worst 2 months ever!

Congrats wisensmart75! finally the long wait is over! hmmm,i'm wondering what happened to my AOS,it's never been touched since 6/29 at CSC... :unsure:

Thank you smurfs, dont worry your turn is comming. Was it you who posted a transfer from csc to a local uscis office? cause mine was first sent from NBC to CSC then back to the local office. I was a bit frustrated but things went fast!! I hope you hear good news so soon. Good luck!!!

no,it wasn't me...mine is still at CSC til now,never touched since 6/29. i'm still hoping for the best :) at least i have my EAD.job hunting now! GOd bless u both!

I got great news today!. We passed the interview and got approved!

So, here is my story. I won't be describing how we passed the security and so on. The interview was scheduled on 2 pm. We checked in at 2.05pm and was called by the officer immediately. By "we" i mean me, my husband and our 2 kids ( 5 and 7 years old). Fist we gave our ID's, then he verified names, dates of birth, address. Asked to provide the marriage certificate, birth certificates for the kids, naturalization paper for my husband ( this is my big screw up - instead of it i got the paper with the beautiful seal from our marriage ceremony). He also verified when we were married, if we live together and if we own our house together ( of course we do). Asked for some wedding pictures ( even though we had a very formal, very small wedding with only 4 guests and i gave him only one picture from it, he looked satisfied), also, i gave him probably a dozen pictures from the hospital when the kids were born , from our vocation and other events. He didn't ask any questions about them . The he asked for a few minutes to process my card! He didn't even say a word "APPROVED". He only mentioned that we could have filed for a visa for me earlier even though my husband wasn't a citizen by that time and our case was very easy.

But here is the other side of the story. Even though we've been together for over 8 years, married for 7 years, have 2 kids together, own a house, cars and so on together i overstayed by almost 9 years ( J1 visa), i lost my I-94 and didn't file for a replacement and we didn't use any legal help ( this forum was really great) i still got approved. So good luck everyone, i will update when i receive an actual card ( promised within 10 days).

(21) 05/31/2011 - checks cashed

(27) 06/06/2011 - NOA received for I485, I765, I10; appontment letter for BIO ( 06/29)

(50) 06/29/2011 - Biometrics done ( tried to walk in on 06/20, was refused in Elizabeth, NJ)

(56) 07/05/2011 - EAD card production ordered

(59) 07/08/2011 - another update EAD card production ordered on 07/08/2011

(66) 07/12/2011 – interview letter received for Aug 15, EAD approved, letter sent out on 07/11

(68) 07/14/2011 – EAD card arrived in mail!

(100)08/15/2011 - interview – APPROVED!!!

(104)08/19/2011- Welcome notice received.

(107)08/22/2011- GC arrived in mail.

Received my AOS interview letter for next month--Sept. 20th! Wooohoo..things are starting to move right along now. Thank God!

Hi GreekTrojan,i'm just wondering if ur case was transfered to CSC or not. My case is in CSC but still not touched since June 29th. I'm wondering what's going on there ;)
