Hi castorinho!

Why would she try to scare me?!psych war something? Got nothing to hide.

Yes this is ridiculous and causing me undue stress...I have to be at work in 2.5 hrs and am still looking for resources on my case. I really canNOT produce that approval letter in 2001 so I hope their record system won't fail me..I have been checking my online status at the uscis website but nothing.I hope to get a welcome letter within the week rather than a NOID cuz like u said: 1. it should be in their system and 2. they should have seen it earlier and asked for an RFE before the interview date (still I would not have been able to provide it!), 3. would be costly to get a lawyer that's why we did this on our own!

I was just thinking of the many overstaying people in the US (and even worked for years illegally) who filed for AOS due to marriage to a USC and approved, my POSSIBLE NOID would be unfair for I have never had any unlawful presence in the US...am getting paranoid..what could they be looking for..honestly?!

Geeze my son (US citizen y birth) is coming here late Aug for Sept class openings, got his ticket already..we gotten NOA1 for my daughter's petition, hoping we will be reunited by end of the year...the waiting game with USCIS is still not over.sigh!

Thank you for your words..good luck with your RFE too...let's keep on encouraging each other's journeys here.

Have a good one!

HI prep.mac I dont see any problem in your case and I think they should have something in their record they will refer to. Its only a mtter of time (sooner) and you will see your status changed to green card production :). If there is a problem with your case they would have requested additional documents before your Interview or they will have asked you to bring them with you. I am having my interview in the same uscis office next month (aug 12) and I hope you hear from them so soon. Good luck

Hi May fillers, I received my EAD yesterday. But something weired happened with my EAD status online, after I received two texts/e-mails saying that the status was "crad poduction ordered" I received another text/e-mail with another update, when I checked I saw that the satatus moved backward to post decision activity, but this did not affect the process cause I received the card in seven days after the "card production ordered" status showed up. Time now to apply for a SSN and start the hunt for a job. Good luck may fillers :)

Urgh! Someone somewhere along the line lost my complete physical. I turned over everything at the airport and I didn't get a copy of anything except my X-Ray and vaccination, so now they are telling me to have another physical here AND with a Civil Surgeon, even if I just had a complete physical with our family doctor here in Vegas two weeks ago. :-( If it doesn't turn up in the next few weeks, we are going to have to pay more money for that physical and some CS might require me to have more vaccinations than needed including the out-of-season flu vaccines. Urgh!

On the other note, Officer Gordon at the Las Vegas USCIS office was very nice. She's also related to the former Senator (and Presidentiable) ####### Gordon of the Philippines, who should have been President of the Phils if the people were smart enough.

Huh.. weird, sorry for that.. Happened to me too, except I got an RFE for it, and they "lost" my medical too.. It's up to you but if you're in a hurry, I wouldn't bother waiting for it to turn up since it can take ages.. I redid my medical for $150 and got parts of it paid by my health insurance so I ended up paying less than $100.. I sent it in two days and got it over with right away! Goodluck and God bless :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Agree, completely ridiculous! I'm sorry they are causing you more stress with this non-sense! If you didn't get an extension approved back then, CPB sure would have given you a hard time next time you entered the US. So many people get away with overstaying, illegal working, hopping the border etc. and then they give a hard time somebody who is trying to do the right thing and follow the rules! I'm sure you will get the approval soon though, good luck! :)

Did you get RFE for lost medical? Maybe you can try and call the hospital back in the PI and find out if they can send you a copy of your medical? I know USCIS would accept that. It's worth a try before you spend more money on a new medical. :)

I would do it, except that I just did a complete medical with our family physician 2 weeks ago (which results they don't accept) and I don't want to do all that again. I'm not sure my insurance would pay for that especially because I just did the same tests weeks ago. I also don't want to do the flu vaccine (which is outdated and not really really required), and the TB skin test that would be 90% positive (and they'd make me take medication for half a year) when my lungs are clear as proven by my X-Rays. Some doctors are just so crazy about this and they make you do things that you really don't have to do.

This is just so frustrating, and they are making us pay in money, time and stress for their errors. The ombudsman should be looking into this.

I'll try calling the hospital in the Phils, the embassy there, the POE, and then our congressman here if they can't find anything. I am not doing that full medical exam again if I can avoid it. Besides, my husband is too busy and going through all this is just going to stress him out. We are already stressed out enough and busy with his Mom being in the hospital for the past 5 weeks.

:-(
