Timeline

Had my interview today and was in and out in about 20 minutes! Wonderful.

Was sworn in with my husband at his desk. The officer asked only one question... "So you met at X place how did that happen?"

He then went through my i-485 application to make sure all the information was correct then asked for a copy of our marriage certificate since it got misplaced.

We bought oodles of evidence with us just in case - like joint bank statements, photos, insurance, phone bills etc and he didn't ask to see a thing.

Completely painless and easy. Said I should receive my Green Card in 30 days but I'm sure it will be much sooner.

06/04/11 - Received 3 Notices and Biometrics Appointment

06/17/11 - Walk-in Biometrics(for June 23rd)

06/23/11 - Transferred to CSC

07/20/11 - EAD card production;AP approved

07/28/11 - Received combo card EAD/AP in the mail

10/18/11 - Green card/document production

10/24/11 - Green Card in hand! to God be the glory!

Removal of Conditions Timeline:

07/17/2013 - Sent I-751 package

07/22/2013 - NOA1

08/09/2013 - Walk-in biometrics (for August 23rd)

Just had my biometrics done, I will now contact my congressman to see if they can expedite my EAD card.

AOS packet sent : 05/19

Received by USCIS: 05/21

NOA Date: 06/21

NOA Hard Copy: 06/26

Biometrics Letter: 06/29 (scheduled for 07/15)

I-765 returned to me (rejected): 07/07

New I-765 sent: 07/08

Biometrics done: 07/15

RFE- Mail: 07/28

RFE Sent back: 08/02

USCIS acknowledged RFE: 08/05

2nd I-765 rejected: 08/07

3rd I-765 filed: 08/08

I-765 received by USCIS: 08/24

Interview Notice set for 10/14: 09/08

Congratulations! We almost have the same timeline, except that I haven't heard anything about my EAD/AP yet and my AOS interview is still on the 26th. What I am waiting for right now is a job interview set at 10AM, so I'm browsing websites to keep me from being anxious about it.

Congratulations! We almost have the same timeline, except that I haven't heard anything about my EAD/AP yet and my AOS interview is still on the 26th. What I am waiting for right now is a job interview set at 10AM, so I'm browsing websites to keep me from being anxious about it.

WOW!!! Congratulations! Our local USCIS Office is Seattle, and now I really wish it was Spokane. Ha ha... The Seattle office didn't even let me do a walk-in Biometrics :( .

I'm so glad to see May filers starting to get approvals. This is awesome!!! B-)

Hi co-May filers!

So I got my EAD July 9 (Sat), applied for my SSN card July 11 (Mon). SSA told me card should be here within 7 days so maybe Tues next week. Anyway, an update:

I am starting a job with a pre-school/day care on Monday!!! Finally a job !hahha!

Let's continue to pray for each other here..my AOS interview will be on July 25th...we have pretty much everything we can to show the IO..waiting on life insurance policy and letter of employment from my hubby's employer..we have a week more.

I chose not to stress out about this...entered the marriage in good faith, doing our best with our docs so God bless us!

My timelines:

5/02/11 - sent AOS packet (I-130/I-485/I-765) to Chicago Lockbox

5/04/11 - AOS packet received by Chicago Lockbox

5/23/11 - Received NOA for RFE (I-693)

5/27/11 - Sent RFE to DHS Lee's Summit, MO

6/02/11 - DHS Lee's Summit received REF reply

6/06/11 - Biometrics done at Louisville, KY as per NOA schedule

6/24/11 - Received NOA for July 25 interview in Indianapolis, IN

6/30/11 – Received text and email messages EAD card on production

Hello my May Filers, im having a beautiful day with hubby getting his birth certificate at San francisco city hall.. we are buying a portfolio to have our paperwork organized, my interview is in 5 DAYS!!!!! Trusting the lord in every step , today i got another email from USCIS about my EAD the same one i received on monday about card production. hopefully as soon as i get my EAD i can apply for my SSN and start working, im very happy some of you are getting their EAD, interview, for those that still waiting to hear from USCIS, patience .. i cant wait to start working make some friends because i dont know anyone here and next year start college full time,.. but lets finish with USCIS this year first haha ..ok my friends i wish you the best for all of you and have a great weekend!

No te preocupes sus AOS sara aprobado sin ningun dificultad, Tienes suficiente documentos y pruebas para la entrevista. Hablo Espanol porque pasé unos tres anos en Espana antes de venir a los Estados Unidos y tenia muchos de tus paisanos como amigos, I hope my Espanol is good. Hi May filers!

Update: I got my EAD July 9, applied for SSN July 11, got my SS card July 16. I am starting my first job as a pre school teacher tomorrow, July 18. Looking forward to July 25th AOS interview. I try not to sweat about it.

Please continue to pray for each other.

Congrats to those who have had their GCs and EADs and SSNs..seems May filers are on the right track.

wow congrats prep mac, that was fast :) i have my interview july 20 this week im nervious and anxious but finally it will be over for the next 2 years. im still waiting my EAD , got an email last monday about card production. cant wait to start working and Good luck to you in the new job :thumbs:
