How did you do a walk-in without your biometric appt letter? And I agree, I dont think early walk-in expedites your process. I did a walk-in May 24th and still have not heard a peep back.

I mean an early walk in with the appointment letter of course.

Actually, I meant to send that to Lami, not you. Sorry for the mix up.

Lami, how were you able to do a walk-in if you didnt receive your bio appt letter until today?

I haven't done a walk in. I had to call to find out why I hadn't received a bio appt letter and then finally got one for the 14th. My darling husband who is a stubborn man ;P refused to drive there to attempt a walk-in.. in case they said no. So we drive there on Thursday instead. I never said I did a walk in... but I wish we had. :)

Well.. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for quick results for everyone of us. Yesterday I was really disappointed that my EAD hadn't come, I feel so.. stationary.. I'm originally from a fairly large city in Canada and I had a good job. I am completely accustomed to going off and doing whatever it is I want to do and whatnot. I've moved to a rural area outside of a relatively small city in Virginia and we only have one car at the moment... so when the Husband is at work.. bleh. :) I think most of us are in the same sort of place, the holding pattern, the desire to help with finances so there isn't that stress. I've started working on my family tree again, making use of some of the free resources online... I'm hoping that will keep me entertained until the EAD comes...I have a feeling I'll have my Green card before the ead comes but I was hoping for some faster results like some others on here have had :) I'll keep hoping.

SORRY everyone! My computer is acting up and I was getting all of my msgs mixed up. i get it now Dulcinea..makes sense. Good luck everyone

Oops, it looks like i got everyone confused. Today i've received an interview letter ( appointment for the interview). I've looked at so many timelines, it looks like the interview letter arrives 1,5-2,5 months after the filing date. If there is an interview, the GC is received in about 3,5-4 month after the filing date. Just the statistics.

Can't wait to get my EAD. No so worried about GC.

Hi May fillers !! I have got some updates. I was away for a week ( we spent the week with my mother in law ) when we returned I found another transfer notice in the mail box. It says This time that my case was transferred form the CSC back to the NBC in lee summit Misouri because "THE RECORD INDICATES THAT OFFICE HAS JURIDICTION OVER THE CASE" as written in the notice. So exactly a month was lost between those transfers. Early this morning I received a text/e-mail stating that an interview was scheduled on Aug the 12th (the EAD still in initial review). When My case was sent to CSC I was waiting for an approval without an interview, but its not always the case. I wonder why it was even transferred since it returned back to the same spot?? Anyway its another month wait before the next step. Good luck May fillers hope you all get some updates as well!! :)

ok so today hubby and i went to see our lawyer, and we are freaking out, we will go by ourselves , we have to pay the lawyer a fee to go with us and since we only have one income to survive we cant afford it  .. we are getting even more nervious , he says that usually the officers at the san jose office are nice but that regardless we must be prepared for the worst case scenario. but what made us nervious was that he thinks we dont have enough stuff together... this is what my hubby and i have: a joint bank account, our lease agreement and rent receipts, the utilities are included in the rent, marriage certificate, our emails, * the first email he sent me to the dating website christianmingles* and our itinerary info everytime we flew to visit each other and of course the photos... thats all we have together, i havent get a EAD yet so i haven't be able to apply for a SSN Or license to add me to his car insurance, and he has health insurance through university.... he also says that with our evidence there is 60% of denial... i know our attorney wants us to be extra prepared and not to be surprise by any question. but we cant help to be nervious , we are very tired of this whole process and of me not being able to work and im planning to continue college this sept so we really want to have my status approved. i believe that God is with us and we have his grace in everything we do and i feel in my heart that we are going to be approved, ok guys i wanted to express all this anxiety and maybe fears we are having... Thank you

I have plenty of friends and relatives that have gone thru the same process with LESS evidence than you have. As long as you guys are really married, you will have no problem proving it. Pictures with each others families, marriage photos, joint lease, utility bills, bank accounts and knowing about each other's respective family is just fine. The interviews are laid back until the stories start to get mixed up. My friend told me they didnt even ask for pictures on his interview cus the IO could tell he and his wife were married simply by their interaction. Look relaxed and put it in God's hands..it will be fine. The hard part is over...getting the interview. Some of us havent even got our EAD yet! Lol, let us know how the interview goes, you will do fine.

wisensmart75, sorry to hear that your case has been traveling back and forth, hang on there.

Batya, i don't think you need a lawyer, you have enough evidence. Me and my husband don't have our utilities on both names but i am not worried since we are married for almost 8 years and have 2 kids.

Dtudtu, it happened to my case as well, first notification stated card production on July 5, then on July 8, then the blue dot went back to approval notice on the 12th. Checked my mail today, still no AED card.:(
