We've already covered this earlier in the thread, it just means that your case was transferred to the California Service Center (it's a good thing, most people transferred here do not get interviews).

Naturalization Process (FINALLY!)

05.29.14 - N-400 filed

06.02.14 - Packet received at the Lewisville Texas Center

06.05.14 - Check cleared

06.04.14 - NOA date

06.13.14 - Biometrics letter received

07.02.14 - Biometrics appointment

07.07.14 - In line

07.17.14 - 'Yellow Paper' date

09.10.14 - Interview scheduled NOA date

10.15.14 - Interview date

10.15.14 - RFE (missing documentation)

10.21.14 - RFE response received in NYC facility

11.04.14 - Oath ceremony scheduled, approved!

11.19.14 - Oath ceremony (8:30am) in Brooklyn - Completed! DONE WITH USCIS!

Oh that would be great but somebody said in the AOS forum that the national benefits center will decide if they send it to CSC or my local uscis office.I was a little scared cause i never heared of NBC, i just saw people getting either interwiews or being transfered to CSC so i dodnt know what it ment.did you guys get the same email or did it say yours was tranfered to a uscis location?

thank you

Again, look back a few pages in this thread, we've already explained it. The National Benefits Center is the CSC. Yes, my case has also been transferred there (I got the same email, everyone that is transferred has the same email). I don't believe your case will get transferred back to your local office, but you never know. Most people I've read about on here that have been transferred to the CSC did not get interviews. I'm hoping we're the same!

Hi guys, the NBC where your case was transfered is not the CSC. This is the early stage of processing, this will apear in your NOA then from there it may be sent either to the CSC or back to the USCIS office having juridication on the area where you live. You will receive a notice by mail once your case is transfered to the CSC. I received a printed notification when my case was transfered to the CSC and it said that it was sent there for quick processing. As far as I know, the NBC mainly processes I-765(work permits) while CSC and the USCIS process I-485. Cases sent back to the USCIS require an interview for approval.

NBC is not CSC! Every I-485 goes to NBC first and then some get transferred to CSC and others sent to local offices for interview. If they send them to CSC then you get a notice in the mail saying it got transferred to California Service Center. Those that get sent to local offices, receive interview appointment letter.

My case was transferred to the csc on June 23rd and today the online update indicates that my AP has been approved. (I still think it's a riot they call it advance parole.... ) Crossing my fingers that my EAD comes ... soon soon :D

I can hardly wait to have the break from this madness until it starts again for removal of conditions.

Hi guys! do you know what this means?.....

"The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you..."

Last June 23rd,my case was transferred to CSC and this time i checked my status and this is what's in there.

Thanks!
