I know yor frustration! I got Packet 4 telling me to make my appointment and i tried daily for three weeks. Last week i dedicated myself from 7:30 (when their doors open) until Noon just refreshing over and over. Finally on Thursday there were some available.

I was getting so so frustrated. I think because of the backlog they are experiencing they are opening random Wednesday afternoons. Since the same day i got mine about 5 or 6 other people on VJ got theirs on my day and time.

Keep trying! Mine is on the 25th of May, and my medical is tomorrow :) Hopefully if everything goes smoothly my fiance will be flying one way from Utah on the 17th of June and the 40 hour roadtrip to my new home will begin.

Just try to keep positive! Even though it's easier said than done :)

Yes very exciting! I was figuring i'd only get an appointment in August by the way things were going. SO i was going to pack up the truck with my doggie and head there for the summer. But things finally fell into place. Started this process last August!

I live outside of Montreal, close to the Ontario boarder. Figure we will drop down at Thousand Islands into Syracuse NY. It will be a long trip, but since Matt will be with me, itll be a lot of fun i'm sure! Where do you and your fiance live?

I sold my condo in February.. and have been living with my parents since. It's not so bad, expenses are low for sure, but been on my own for close to 10 years, so being back isn't super easy. Living in a pull out couch next to our companies office in the basement. Time to take the next step!!

Such a beautiful journey it will be....I still live here in Toronto, and my fiance is in Northern California, it is so hard being seperated but I am now clearing our stuff slowly, selling what I can. I have accumulated a lot of stuff, books, vinyl, stuff and parting with this stuff is emotional, but I know material things mean nothing when you have love. Still working out all the logistics of moving some of the stuff there. How nice your doggie is coming too....What a trip that will be, are you all packed then?

Yup all packed. Most of it has been boxed since my move into my parents house. Been living with the basics, a week of clothes that i just keep washing over and over so that i don't need to unpack too much.

Had my Medical in Montreal, pretty painless. Seriously the doctor chatted with me for 5 mins. Worst was the needles (im such a wuss when it comes to those darn things)

As long as i don't have TB or Syphilus lol which im sure i don't, should have a passing grade on that by friday :)

Exactly two weeks till interview, so excited.. U have any luck today??

2 weeks are going to fly, how exciting. No site still saying "No appointments available at this time", it's scary, I am wondering if I pay on- line, the $350 Visa fee, that might make the difference, what do you think?
