Hello everyone! It's me again :P I am planning for my medical exam which will be on the 18th.. for those who already had their medical, how long did it take and what time is advisable to go there? I am planning to spend the night in Manila with my mom to free ourselves from having to travel again for the second day (We only live 1 hour and 30 minutes aways from Manila :no: )

Another question... I only have my passport as my identification that shows my new name (married name). The rest of my IDs are showing my maiden name. Since St. Luke's will get my passport when I'm done with the medical, can I use my old maiden name IDs to enter the embassy for the interview?

March 18-28, 2011 - hubby's visit to Philippines for his bday (2nd bday together)

USCIS Stage - 136 days for USCIS journey

December 2, 2010 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

December 6, 2010 - I-130 received!! yay!!

December 13, 2010 - NOA1 text message received!

December 16, 2010 - NOA1 hard copy received in the mail

April 28, 2011 - NOA2!!! Thank you LORD!

NVC Stage - 21 days for NVC journey

May 2, 2011 - NOA2 hard copy received in the mail; NVC received our case

May 6, 2011 - Case number and IIN ; DS3230 sent by beneficiary through email to NVC

May 10, 2011 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

May 13, 2011 - IV bill generated and paid

May 16, 2011 - IV bill shows "PAID" ; AOS and DS230 packets sent to NVC

May 18, 2011 - NVC received both packets

May 19, 2011 - Medical exam - PASSED!!! :)

May 27, 2011 - Sign in Failed and Case Complete!!! Woot!

June 9, 2011 - Interview date assigned

July 14, 2011 - Interview @8:30am - APPROVED!!!!

July 21, 2011 - Visa Received! FINALLY!

July 23, 2011 - POE - Salt Lake City, Utah *home sweet home*

Hi, for your 1st question, some say its best to go in the afternoon. be sure to eat first coz you will have a long wait. I went there at 10am i was done at around 4 pm.

2nd, the guard at the entrance wont ask for any Id, you just have to show them your NOA2 or NVC letter and interview appointment.

Hi! I was at St. Luke's twice, for my med exam and then my son's. Very different experiences. It seemed everything was faster during mine. I was there 5am, I was done before 11am. And there were far fewer people during my med exam than during my son's, so it's probably different everyday. I guess there would be enough time to finish it if you go after lunch but I strongly suggest being there really early. To answer your second question, do photocopy your passport before you go to St. Luke's. I'm not sure that the guard at the Embassy will accept your id's, you should probably call to ask. You can try and get an NBI Clearance, get a change of surname. Best of luck!
