After some research and cross checking, I think I have found the answer to my question. There is no need to notify the NVC or the US embassy immigrant visa branch if you are changing jobs prior to the interview . I have attached the link “ Immigrant Visa Applicants Interview Preparation” posted on the US Embassy Manila website where it listed circumstances changes when to inform/notify the embassy immigrant visa branch.

http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Packet%204%20_appointment%20packet_%20English%20rtf%20_revised%20GSS_%20_2__002.pdf

item “VI – Important Reminders” listed changes to the beneficiary and petitioner circumstances in which you should notify the Embassy Immigrant Visa branch as follows:

a. There have been births, deaths or adoptions in your family.

b. You or any of your dependents have married, or had a marriage terminated.

c. Your petitioner has died

d. For employment-based cases, your job offer has been cancelled or there has been a change of petitioner

e. You or the petitioner had changed address.

Here is another answer to a similar question:

9. Can I change jobs prior to the interview?

If your immigrant visa application is based on an offer of employment, you should not change jobs prior to the interview.

Hope this would help others who have similar question.
