Good day to everyone. I've been reading posts from this thread, and it helped me and my fiance onto our application, big time! Yet, I do have certain 'minor' questions that I hope you guys could help

We had our NOA2 that it was dated or approved on April 20th. My fiance then called if NVC received our case already and they replied that they sent it already to Manila Embassy, that was on the 27th, and have issued our MNLxxxx number. Thereafter, he then called Manila Embassy to ask if they have received the files already, they told him the electronic files is with them already yet the hardcopy is still awaited. Here goes my questions:)

1. As per the blogs and messages I've read, I would wait for the snailmail of the packet from ManilaEmbassy for me to sched my interview and other stuff. Should I just wait, or should we be ####### and keep on calling ManilaEmbassy?

2. Once I've got the answer from question 1, I've been wondering what should I be doin' first... 1)Call USEM to schedule for an interview OR 2)Pay for and interview OR 3)Have my Medical done?

3. As per the Medical, should I be calling for an appointment OR I can go to St. Luke's and pick the day I prefer to get it done?

4. I have prepped the files needed for the interview already. And I have peeped into one of the blogs which says that she and her fiance sent their Updated Letters of Intent directly to USEM. Must that be right? Or should I keep these Letters and personally present them on my interview date?

It's been a lot into my head, and I believe people here could be a lot of help. Thank you in advance for making my mental burden afloat:)

God bless us all into this journey:)

I don't know anything about Manila but the post in the main section somebody is saying you don't have to wait for them to received the hard copy.

But in general you should be able to find out the list of the doctors and forms you need to fill out for the interview from the embassy site. You can probably call one of those doctors to schedule the medical and you want to do it before the interview so they have the results at the interview.

As far as the evidence, petition and stuff, I think the beneficiary should take all that to the interview and have them organized so they can present anything quickly in response to questions.

Make sure you have the I-134, those police reports, divorce, birth certificate and other documents.

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!

As for the medical, you can go there a week before your scheduled interview. It's a first come, first served basis so it's better if you go there around 5 AM to be able to breeze through everything before lunch. For the letters of intent, I'm not sure with the other VJers, but it's usually sent beforehand to USEM.

Hello mee0528,

Here's a list of what I did when I received my noa2.

1) Us embassy manila will send you an eligibility letter, informing you that you are eligible for an interview. But no need to wait for this letter because it take time before you will receive this. And Since you already have your mnl case number you can have your medical exam in st. Lukes.

2) Medical in st. lukes is a walk in basis. First come first serve, monday-friday.

Things to bring:

* Copy of your NOA2

* Mnl case number (if u have the nvc letter with the case number, you can bring it, but if you dont have its okay, as long as u

know your mnl #)

* Passport and a photocopy

* Black Ballpen

* Bottle water (in-case u will get thirst by going up and down in the building)

3) Pay your visa and any branch of BPI and then you schedule ur interview online or by phone call. Bring ur passport and a photocopy.

* Scheduling online : http://www.ustraveldocs.com//US-philippines/UI/IMV/IMVValidation.aspx?P=e5yRtEQ1OV5SBnscDwKTWAoThOaI50JV5rfr02mex0s%3D

* By phone : within philippines (02) 982-5555 and (02) 902-8930

4) You can keep the letter of intent by your self and show it to the embassy when they will ask for it. In my case my fiance sent the old letter of intent to the USCIS and then I have the updated copy in my hand.

You can either schedule interview first before u will have ur medical exam or u can take ur medical exam then schedule ur interview afterwards. I had my medical first and wait for the result before I scheduled my interview.

Hope this could help!!! GOD bless!!
