$335 K3 VISA FEE - NAPLES

Hi....

we are really freaked out here...we are in naples and we are waiting for the medical (tomorrow)and interview appointment (thursday). We have brought we us some money in Euros enough to pay the hotel and the medical + vaccinations. But then we found out that they we have more to pay.......In my appointmen letter they report that Unless prevously paid through the NVC you'll need to pay $335 in order to issue the Visa....is it true? Is it only for the immigrant visa (CR1) or even for the K3 Visa? It seems strange to us because the NVC didn't tell us anything about it and we already had to pay $100 (85 Euros) in advance for this Visa....I don't understand....how much does this Visa cost?????

I hope someone can help us out.... :unsure:

I never heard of this before. I paid for the petition when we filed, Claudeth paid for the medical and the interview which was about $100 each.

The $335 fee is only for immigrant visas. K-3 visas applicants only pay the $100 nonimmigrant visa fee. The consulates sometime send out form letters for all visa applicants. It is up to the applicants to know which visas they are applying for and the proper fees.

Hi Maria,

We received the same form letter from Naples. You only need the receipt for payment at BNL, plus $160 for the medical, plus whatever vaccinations you need.

Are you staying at Area Mare? Try to do something tonight to take your mind off the next couple of days. My husband didn't. He just stayed indoors the whole time. Check out a movie or something :)

Yep we are staying at Areamare....Jesus I've been here for 2 hours and I don't know what to do. this area sucks, its very boring......but I can't complain about the hotel, its very nice and comfortable. Nicely, Mike brought his computer and we are dowloading a lot of stuff.... :P

I see that its the k-3 interview and you are posting the k3 timeline...but had you been advancing the cr1 at the same time? Any chance this is no error, and your cr1 caught up? That would be a good thing.
