One last question please.........:D

My husband has all our files with him...the original petition, RFE, NVC papers..... and a new file with chats, emails, my flight itinerary and passport stamps and boarding passes, snail mail back and forth, new civil documents, new photos from my trip last month, etc. He also put the NVC papers in that file "just in case" Casa didn't get them, so he has my financial documents with him.

My question is, does he need to take the original petition and RFE documents with him, or should he/can he leave those at the hotel tomorrow and just take the new file with new documents? Also, I think I read somewhere that they can't take a backpack or anything with them, is that right?

He also has his appointment letter and his passport.

Thank you :)

I would err on the side of bringing it. It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Also, I think I read somewhere that they can't take a backpack or anything with them, is that right?

Large bags are usually on the list items that are not allowed. Backpacks usually fall into that category.

Thanks to both of you, I will tell him to take everything. And thank you so much for your well wishes :)

I think he needs it but I'm not 100% sure. But in a situation like this I always figure better to have and not need rather than need and not have. Good luck!
