I've had luck at zappos.com. Decent sales, and one can search by size, color, heel height, and style.

Wow you guys... thanks for the comments and the research!! I always forget about ebay, but didn't find anything there. I checked out zappos and didn't see anything there either when I looked... how DID you find those shoes that you linked?

Shiny won't work... the fabric is more 'matte' than satiny... open toe would be fine, but I REALLY would like a beaded toe (clear beads, taupe colored beads) mule... that would be ideal. I had an accident this summer and my right foot is still giving me problems, so to not have to worry about cramming my foot into a heel would be really great. Hell, I may wind up wearing flip flips and just taking care not to flip flop down the aisle!

I thought that 'champagne' might be another good color for the dress.. it really is more on the beige side of taupe than it is rose...

My mother found a shoe at a local department store -- Macy's I think -- that was a champagne slide with a low heel covered in clear and gold beads for my cousin's wedding. Which doesn't help you exactly, but I mean to suggest to check the sale racks at DSW, Nordstrom's and similar places for a good deal.

I don't have a DSW nearby... no 'good' local department stores unless I go as far as Detroit and I can't do that every weekend, so I was HOPING to find something online... I will be planning a trip next weekend, so I'll keep you posted.
