... I need more help. This is going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I can't describe the dress much, in case David reads some of these threads :P , but it is floor length, taupe, halter style, with a lace, beaded top... there's NO hem to let down and it's the perfect height in bare feet, so.... I found it at Group USA here in Michigan. AWESOME store... highly recommend checking them out.

I'd like to find FLAT mules-type shoes that are taupe-colored with a lace, or beaded toe... these would be PERFECT if they didn't have a heel....

I've even thought of getting these and taking them to a shoemaker, but I don't think that removing the heel would work with these...

Any suggestions???

I've had luck at zappos.com. Decent sales, and one can search by size, color, heel height, and style.

Yeah I saw that! I have to check the height of a pair I have at home, the mister is not very tall. :P

Also, my dress is very 30s & those are kinda 40s.....hmmm.

I did find some $200+ ones I like, Cynthia Rowley, but no way am I paying that!
