VSC Speeding up?

Hi everyone!

Just dropping by to say hi to everyone and ask you all if i might be crazy. Ive noticed that the VSC is speeding up a bit since ive joined VJ. When i first joined, the estimate date for our NOA2 was Aug 30th- Sept 15th. Its since then gone down a day each business day that passes. We are now estimated to receive it between Aug 9th- Aug 27th. Has anyone else noticed this? Am i being too optimistic?

Well, I filed at VSC seven months ago and still haven't seen approval, so I would say....no.

It depends... Our timeline thing said we should expect to be approved somewhere between the end of May and the beginning of June (something like May 17- June 7.. I can't remember the exact dates now) and to be honest I was just getting ready to call USCIS when we got our approval on May 6th.. so we were done 2 weeks to a month sooner than VJ was predicting... but then there are others who seem to have been left behind like Monyfer I hope you both get yours soon..

hmmm...the the estimates dont seem to be reliable at all. Congrats on your approval! Monyfer, Ive read your posts in the past, they are heartbreaking. I hope you get your approval soon. Best of luck!

well the estimates are based on other peoples timelines so they are taking into account people who were lucky enough to be approved in 1 month and people who unfortunately weren't approved until the 7th month, so it's more of an average than anything. On top of that some people don't update their timelines. AND it's pretty clear that the service centers don't work on cases as they come in, it seems more random than that.

But the estimates give you at least a guideline for when you can expect the NOA2 and it will change as peoples timelines change. But good luck, before you know it you'll have your petition approved
