I will agree with you for a sake of argument there.

So if the real problem is that people aren't responsible about having sex.

You could educate them how to be responsible. But you don't want that.

You could help them with the consequences of their actions, but you don't want that.

You want to save lives... but not all baby lives. Just those ones that were a result of irresponsible sex.

IMHO, you are trying to punish those irresponsible. Saving lives is not your primary agenda. If it was, you would be:

1. Educating about contraception, pregnancy, parenting and abortion.

2. Providing free pre and post-natal care for those teens you care so much about, and helping them with either placement of babies or support them keeping those babies (all on taxpayer, as teenagers do not have money).

3. Making excellent well baby care available to all babies.

But no, all you want are laws who punish those who had irresponsible sex and do nothing for the well being of that fetus to be child. And you want to punish doctors who terminate pregnancies, while at it.

Punishment is not the best tool to change people's behavior. You probably just enjoy punishing!

Educating people in being responsible, please explain. I think that most people having sex understand the bird and the bees but hey if they dont I'm all about educating them. This does not mean offering sex education classes to 1st graders.

I have no problem helping woman deal with the consequences but not in a manner that would take the babies life. People make mistakes, I get it. I just dont think its fair to punish the unborn baby for their mistake.

I'm confused, what babies do you think that I don't care about?

I am for programs that would help pregnant teenagers. I know that a lot adopting parents(there is a waiting list) would be more than happy to help out.

I'm only concerned about punishing doctors that perform abortions illegally. The example I gave earlier had to do with back alley abortions.

You are right about the fact that I don't want to educate woman on having a abortion.

I live in Oregon which has a excellent social system for kids and for the most part I have no problem with it and I support it. We must always put our children first.

If you want to have a discussion about this I will but I'm not going to play your games. So what will it be?

You already missed the post where I ask you to start, right? Its predictable, actually. I won't re-post.

Maybe its not a game, but a joke- on you, for you, by you. ;)

Talk past me all you want but I really do give a dam. As far as health care goes "apples and oranges".

Apples and oranges? Health care has nothing to do with life? Is that what you're saying? You can't expect to be taken seriously if you can't admit that a country that allows tens of thousands of it's people - five people each and every hour of each and every day - to needlessly have their lives cut short, to die prematurely for no other reason than not having access to health care is simply NOT a pro-life country. The "pro-life" crowd also happens to largely be the crowd that would not only love to extent that indefensible status quo but actually make it far worse by having old people down the road kick that bucket just as soon as possible. The "pro-life" crowd (I just threw up a little) cares about life only if we're talking about a fetus - viable or not - in another person's womb. Once born, that life can go to hell right then and there and they won't give a **.

For some of those babies, sure. All about the economics. Oddly enough, why would an anti-abortion rights person fight against high-quality, affordable health care for those that can't afford the current bloated system we have?

Do you really think every single person that is pro-life categorically matches your statement?

No, I am not being sarcastic. :innocent:

Fail. I'm addressing the soon to be aborted baby that is innocent but has to pay the price for these two imbicles who dont know how to act like a responsible adult.

You know, the misspelling here really takes the sting out of the insult. It hurts even less than a trip to the dentist.star_smile.gif

There are some good arguments for the pro life position, but the sexual puritan church pro lifers should be boated off to their own island well away from everyone else.

They were. They were booted out of Europe, and came to America. Does the Mayflower and Plymouth Colony ring a bell?

Great point. Those colonists ended up being all nice and everything with those that accomodated them, right? Kind of like what many in the anti-abortion rights crusade are on about forcing their morals unto others.

That's a pathetic attempt to insult. If you're going to call someone an imbecile, you should take care to spell it correctly or, it is YOU who is the imbecile.
