Card Production without approval notice

I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth (or whatever that saying is :) ) BUT I'm concerned because when we checked our AOS application status online, it says Card Production but we never received a notice of approval. It went straight from in review to card production, which is great in my opinion. Has anyone else have this happen to them? And if so, do we need the approval letter for anything else and will it come in the mail later?

I appreciate all the help, thanks in advance!

It's for the green card. There doesn't seem to be any movement on the AP or EAD and I don't mind since the green card trumps them all.

Oh ok then no worries you will get the hard copy in the mail and you will get greencard and welcome letter possibly on the same day and congrats no interview for you!!!! I am happy for you. We got a txt/email about EAd/AP the monday after we had greencard in hand and since then nothing we never received it nor did we get any hard copies on either one....WOOOO-Who for those GALS that Had interviews in NOV 2010....Look at us now (in my Chris Brown Voice) lol Keep in touch sis!!!!! We will be back at it again in 21months

Thanks Patient and LadyDare! Yes the November filers are doing their thing and loving it  . Once we get the card in hand, I'm putting a reminder on the calendar because I might forget while blissfully living life and enjoying my time away from the Immigration folks.

Good luck everyone!

Update: We got the card in the mail yesterday.:dance::dance:

Oh how I love this kind of surprise! We were not expecting it for another couple of weeks at all. Good luck everyone on your journey.

I got the same thing on April 19th and still no card in the mail. : ( no activity and them bam an e-mail and text saying that as of April 19th the greencard is in production and in the mail. Its now the 20th and No greencard. made a biometric appointment to find out whats going on but I'm having a sinking feeling that I will have to wait months before I actually see a greencard, chances are they will make me file a I-90 thing and I hear people are waiting 6 plus months for a response with that.

Oh wow.. Did you call them back to tell them you already had an interview. I had an interview at the Cosulate in Dominican Republic but not here. Husband already has his EAD and AP but nothing happened after that until the e-mail came with the production of the card. Now im wondering if I had the same issue as you. If they will tell me the same thing when I call them that we were not approved yet. I actually spoke to them soon after the change and they didnt mention I was not approved and ont he letter for the change of address it actually has a hand written note on the bottom stating that the case was approved. Im confused now.. : (

The notifications seem out of order. We got the Card in Production notification then we got the Approved notification. I think you have to get the approved notification right before the card comes in the mail. SMH! There's never an order to these things.

Good luck everyone!
