I am sooo happy that vsc is picking up the pace...there is nothing more encouraging than seeing them actually doing their job!

They're more than just doing their job - at this rate they'll be under the normal 5 month processing time in about a week.

If that were to be the case, I think we'd all be okay to just change the NPT to 4 months instead of saying 'under the normal 5 month processing time'

In fact if you go back to the start of those 5 weeks (04/04/2011), you can see they were right in the middle of September petitions:

I really do hope that at some point they go back to how it was a year or two ago where NOA2 were issued in 3-4 months...We won't benefit from that since we are already in this mess but for the future love birds out there. There is nothing worse than this wait, especially for those of us who cannot fly over all the time (even though I consider myself very lucky to have seen him aug-sep, jan-feb and again now june-july). I am really glad to see things moving along and i will be okay if I receive NOA2 in the 5 month (but of course would be ECSTATIC to receive before).

Thats great news for all the filiers, I pray that your wait is short and quick from hear on out. I must say last year was much quicker then I am seeing this year, but everything works out in the end. My prays are with all those who are currently waiting for NOA2 and for those who have moved on to the next stage...

We got our NOA1 mid-January and got an RFE (as expected) email today... way to go VSC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
