I think cabs are far cheaper in London than other major cities. And they are the best drivers in the world. When we are in London (two weeks from now) I plan on taking a cab ride whether I need one or not. It's a hella experience!

So now we have two different opinions on London cabbies. Who to trust?

You could learn a lot from a guy like Why Me.

What...you think people raised in the country are all poor or something ? We had twenty acres, three barns and cutting horses that went for $10,000 or even more when I was a kid. We didn't have peeps sleeping in boxes in ally's or pick pockets, muggers, crack dealers and that sort where I was raised. And trips to Frisia (Holland) back then was the norm for our family.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Pay attention. I'm telling Madame Cleo she's poor and you're wealthy.

Guess you'll just have to go back to Belarus then for hookers you can afford!

It's no comparison. It's Ferrari's in Belarus @ Volkswagen prices. It's the opposite in Picadilly.

Yes, it's very scary. You know what Paul? They come after you as well, yes they do, they track you on these ominous little cameras and then they come after you, knock on your door in the middle of the night and arrest you for doing nothing at all, no access to a lawyer, no phone call, nothing, just banged up you are, forever. Waterboarding? That's for little girls. The Brit Police have far, far worse things up their sleeves. You might as well confess now, most do and are happy to end up in the poor house or deported. Very scary, just like 1984 but lots worse.

We can always count on Why_Me as our VJ international expert for junk in your trunk.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

Tyranny comes little by little, all in the name of 'security, the public good, the betterment of society, etc'

Why does one have to 'take' power, when you give them willingly the ability to have it the moment they want it?

You obviously read a lot of very crappy fiction Paul. Enjoy your paranoia.

There's a difference in paranoia and smart thinking.

You give government an inch, they take a mile. This has been true since the dawn of time.

oh you want security cameras at traffic lights? ok cool..... Oh you now want them outside of stadiums? Ok cool.... Oh you now want them on every street corner looking down the street in every direction? Oh, I guess that's cool too.... Oh you want the cameras to be facing down my neighborhood street to keep my children safe? You're right, that's a grand idea! ---- What? You want my children to carry devices with them to check in and out at certain moments of the day? Oh, cool. That's smart! - What you want to microchip my children too? Ok Great!!!
