Hi, What is AOS?

AOS (Adjustment of Status) after you get married. You need to file for that so you can have your 2-year conditional GC.

not to mention there are still fees for the NBI, Cenomar and of course the plane ticket.....I think it's a good idea if we'll make a rough estimate like the computations for all the expenses blush.gif

Yes I agree. In our case, It can be expensive with two (K1 for me, K2 for my son) fees and fees, paperworks and paperworks.

visa fee $350 x 2 = $700

medical fee $213 + $185 (K2) = $398

AOS $1070 + $635 (K2 if filed along with my application) = $1705

TOTAL $2803

Thats only for the application fees alone. plane tickets, hotel, food, cfo fee, and others are not yet included.

Its costly and stressing both financially and emotionally. But the happiness and joy once we are settled with our loved one is priceless. (L)

How much all we can spend including visa, medical, hotels, transporation, nbi, cenomar etc...except for AOS..only estimate :) thanks in advance.

$350 visa fee and $213 medical fee (payable only by peso so that means that depends on the current exchange rate by the time you pay for it)

Hotels - depends which one you prefer. There are lots of cheap hotels nearby St. Lukes and USEM which is like 1200-1800 per night like cherryblossoms, casa bocobo, gran prix. etc. Please google it for more.

Transportation - that also depends on where you are coming from.

NBI only cost 145php, Cenomar 195php (as far as I can remember. Im not sure though)

SO I think, its gonna be around like $800-1000 MAYBE....

and oh you need to go to CFO seminar when you have your visa, I just forgot how much it cost but its not that expensive, no worries.
