Get the tube, it goes straight from Heathrow into central London, simple :)

UGH! It all depends on if time or money is important to you.

The tube always used to take about an hour, longer if it breaks down on you (like the last time I went back to the UK). You should also look at the Heathrow Express but it's a little spendy at GBP16.50 for a single. I always used to use that when I was on business trips (aka on someone else's tab  )

hi, does anyone have any idea of the best/easiest way to get to the Embassy in London from Heathrow Airport?

:luv:

I'd take the tube from Heathrow- Piccadilly line- and get off at Hyde Park Corner station. Then just walk north on Park Lane along the edge of Hyde Park. Turn right at Upper Brook St. (You could go to the next tube stop Green Park, but it's a little twisty turny walk to find the Embassy from there because of the street layout.)

Here's a map I made with the embassy and a few places marked. If you slide the map to see farther south, you'll see the tube stops marked. It's an easy walk and no need to change lines. http://www.click2map.com/maps/nichnick/Embassy_London
