Hi,

I am about to file to remove conditions next week. Although we are both students I think we have ok evidence. One thing that worries me is that we have been living with my in-laws ever since we got married and hence we don't have a lease or utility bills. I want to draft a letter so my in-laws can sign it saying that we have been living with them since we got married but I am not sure how to start it. If any of you could help me out on this I would greatly appreciate it. Also, I want to include a cover letter but I don't like the one they have here on VJ, I am looking for something more simple, where can I find more examples? Thank you in advance for the help.

Your evidence is plenty. Two students that marry & live with Mom is nothing new in the halls of USCIS. Just tell the story if asked.

You dont need to do any of this to succeed. We didnt & there wasnt one question about the subject.

Perhaps you could list what you have for evidence so you can get some feedback on it. Also, it will be quite simple for your in-laws write a letter stating that you live with them. I think there are examples of affidavits here so you should be able to format something to your liking. It can be simple and straight to the point. Same thing for the cover letter. Use the one here and modify it to your tastes. No sense in risking a request for evidence and having your case delayed. It is far easier to include a statement from your in-laws.

Evidence seems OK... We share an apartment with our inlaws and have no contract as the landlord is known to us. He simply wrote a few simple lines stating that we have been his tenants and our AOS went smoothly. We are both students and have lesser evidence than you. But we do have the stongest of all evidences and that is our daughter :)

Good Luck!
