Hi, All.. I'd just want to know of how the does the Medical exam expiration and the immigration visa expiration dates correlates with each other? I'm asking this questions because some say that the IV's expire differently from the Medical exam expiration date, and the other say that IV's expiration get's adjusted to match with expiration date as the Medical exam. Can anyone clarify this for me so that I can know of when the exact date that I can have my wife come to the USA? thank you for your Help....

the expiration date they give you on the visa is the day your medical exam result expires which is usually six months.

The visa is normally valid for 6 months. If your medical expires sooner, then the visa will probably expire sooner too.

So, in my own understanding. the earlier you have you medical examination's done the earlier your Immigration Visa expires too? Let say that you had your Medical exam 2 months early before the Visa interview, so your visa is going to expire 2 months earlier too when you get it back from them from the time of the interview? ouch....:wacko:

I'd just heard from my wife that she got her visa back today. man that was quick... but they gave her a different case number on her visa and her first name and middle name are put together under "First name" and also her father's name is spelled wrong stapled on the front of the yellow envelope which says do not open.. would this be a problem?
